Let's play Minecraft in a world of Swords and Spells (Rewritten)

Dying from a heart attack when playing Minecraft was definitely not the way I thought I would die. Being reincarnated afterward was also not what I thought would happen. But I guess having another chance at life is a great thing! Now, how am I going to live in this world of Swords and Spells? __________________________________ IMPORTANT - IMPORTANT - IMPORTANT I, Zaztra_Vandesh, hold no credit over this fanfiction except the fact that I am its translator and the publisher who is introducing this fiction into Webnovel This story was posted on the Taiwanese/HongKong gamer community website "Bahamut" in Chinese.

Volume 2 Chapter 11: Fury of the Enderman II

(Grace)

It's a complete mess on the square in the main tower of the Unicorn Dorm.

"This is a-absolutely…..r-ridiculous….." A female student is changing the burnt rug on the ground for new ones.

"T-Ten victories in a row…... without resting, and she was facing all of our best freshmen….." Another student, with dog ears said with a shock and startled look on his face.

Rumors had it that there was this girl called Grace, who got the invitation from Sir Neolla to celebrate their coming-of-age ceremony with him. And that made the whole unicorn dorm despise her. The unicorn students even called her "Country Girl" as an insult. But, just now, she came in and accepted 10 "Credited Duels" in a row and emerged practically unscathed!

The relationship between this freshman girl and Sir Neolla had been broadcasted all over the Academy. Most of the people didn't care about it... except for the girls in the Unicorn dorm. The girls were very mad, some of them even planned to harass her.

Generally speaking, that wouldn't have been too bad, others will probably just say "Pitiful" and talk about other stuff on their lunch table. Though everything changed after this "pitiful" protagonist got in front of them.

All of the talented freshmen that just joined the Unicorn dorm had lost in a matter of seconds!

There she comes. And here we lost! We even ganged up on her, many-versus-one… The dog-ear student can't help but feel ashamed.

The older students have lost the color on their faces from anger, but because "No credited duel is allowed when both sides are not in the same grade" they could only watch as Grace dominated the freshmen.

Why is she here anyway? Is she here to end the harassment?

Did she have to come to the Unicorn dorm and make messes just because of this? She must know that Sir Neolla is the leader of the Unicorn Dorm. Isn't she going to celebrate the ceremony with him? Won't that make Sir Neolla embarrassed?

She went upstairs for Sir Neolla after defeating all of the freshmen. Wha-

The sound of an explosion appeared above the dog-eared student, breaking him away from his thoughts. And then, a large amount of gravel and pebbles started to fall, piling onto the ground where he just finished cleaning.

At the same time, two shadows also fell down from the above!

"Young master!" The old butler stood up, dusted off the gravel and dust on his body, he appears to be in a bad shape.

The butler tried to let his master land with a perfect pose. He was successful, but the butler ended up in the gravel pile.

"..." Neolla, landed with a perfect pose, still wearing his warm, lovely smile. But, he is frowning.

He turned his face towards the staircase, and right there, a black-haired girl with a staff in her hand was slowly walking down the stairs, with the air of nonchalance as if she was taking an afternoon stroll in a garden.

Finally, she got to the first floor, stared at Neolla while she ignored all the messes she made a few moments ago.

"Grace, everyone is watching us, why don't we settle this peacefully." Neolla took a deep breath, managed to calm himself, and spoke with a nice, soft tone.

"...Peace? Only the strong have the right to talk about peace." Grace said in response with a smile, and that smile sent chills down Neolla's back.

There's something in her body that wants her to destroy everything.

Everyone was looking at her... Without her glasses, those sights from all the students around felt like needles that were continuously stabbing her.

And each and every single "needle" felt like they were filled with stimulants, constantly driving her desire for destruction higher and higher.

Ah~ She never would have thought that this person in front of her was so easy to understand, so easy to predict, and oh so weak.

Grace looked at everyone else, she raised her hand.

A ball of condensed magic appeared in her hand. She threw it out, and when it hit the wall, it created a little magic circle on it. Then the ball splits into two, flying towards other directions.

The balls kept bouncing and splitting until finally, every wall inside the dorm had been filled with those spell circles.

"...Even though it's a little late now. But, good evening everyone." Grace started talking, her sound came from everywhere.

A simple spell for broadcasting, it's common in places such as auditoriums. But having such a spell placed in this current location filled Neolla with a very nervous feeling.

"Grace, shouldn't we keep this is business between us?" Neolla's smile was starting to grow a bit stiff.

"...I'm sorry, for all the mess I've made. But, it's all Neolla's fault." Grace ignored him as she continued her speech.

Her voice sounded clear, and it was also everywhere. The sound was getting louder and louder in the tower. Now, even the people outside of the dorm can hear her.

"Grace!" For the first time, Neolla's smile had disappeared. "Angus! Silence her!"

He ordered the butler that was next to him.

"Yes, young master!" He started to sprint toward Grace immediately.

The butler pulled out two longswords from his back, and a cyan spell circle appeared under his feet, boosting his speed. Suddenly, he appeared in front of grace in the blink of an eye.

"...Neolla Aifnis, he didn't get the girl he liked, so he threatened her family. What a despicable man!"

Grace took a step backward, dodged the slash, and resumed her speech with a smile.

"...He grew mad due to his failure. So mad that he ordered his servant to attack a teenage girl with his swords."

The old butler didn't stop attacking, he came closer and closer to Grace, but Grace just kept hopping around in a circle. Avoiding all the attacks.

Another few magic balls appeared in Grace's hand. She threw them downwards and they exploded like little bombs. Sand and gravel were blown up into the air, blocking everyone's sight.

"I was an A-grade adventurer, this kind of attack won't work on me! You overestimate yourself, little girl!" But the old butler predicted Grace's next step, and his swords are already slashing to where Grace would be.

"...A despicable man and that servant of his overestimated themselves. The servant said he was an A-grade adventurer, and an expert on melee combat…." Grace said.

"Wha….!" The swords were going to cut her waist, but it didn't. The swords had cut into Grace who was visibly breaking down into a bunch of pink cherry petals. She was nowhere to be found, all that was left was the dust in the air and petals on the ground.

In the next second, the butler felt something was behind him, it was Grace, wielding her wooden staff like a bludgeon.

BAM!

"...But the old trash lost to a teenage girl with only a wooden staff, in melee range."

The dust parted, and the view is now clear. The butler had fainted, and the two swords in his hand fell to the ground with him. Grace looked at the audience, she spun in a circle smugly. But Neolla, his face flashed between different colors looking like a light show...

There were only thirty-ish people at first, but as time goes on, the commotion is attracting more and more people into the broken dorm. Including students and teachers from the other dorm.

"GRACE! I challenge you to a [Credited Duel]! I'M A NOBLE AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO REFUSE!" Neolla has dropped the nice act, he knows that his reputation as a nice person is unsalvageable now.

He is out of his mind. What he needs now is a chance to fix this, to salvage his pride.

And when he was shouting, he found that there's a spell circle on his mouth…...After he finished, he saw that everyone, including all the teachers and students, are staring at him with surprised looks on their faces.

"I believe that everyone has heard that. This is Neolla the shameless, a fourth grade senior that has gained the intermediate lisence on magician and swordsmanship. He tried to break the rules and used his social class to force a freshman to do [Credited Duel] with him."

She paused.

"...Alright, I accept your challenge."

Right after she said that she felt a wall of heated air coming close to her. Neolla had taken his bejeweled sword out, an impressive looking flame spell that looked like a powerful slash shot towards Grace.

Grace didn't even try to avoid it. Instead, she reached out her hands towards that fire.

Grace had already mastered her [Block Dominion] through training, a special skill which only the [Endermen] possess. When her hands touched the fire, purple threads appeared in a flash, and then the fire had split, reshaping into multiple cubes!

Grace also made more magic strings to bind the cubes together. She took a spin, and the clump of fire cubes became a hammer, flying like a meteor that was going back to Neolla!

A string of constant explosions appeared and fires began to burn everywhere. The spectators in the area screamed. Some of them knew water magic and tried to put out the fires, but a burning silhouette flew out from the fire and out of the castle gate. The spectators fell back to avoid it, and the burning silhouette was revealed to be a pitiful person on the ground.

The flame on him got put out, buried by an earth spell.

"...And the freshman girl hadn't even used any magic as she watched this loser burn and defeating himself. The master of that old trash is also trash, I suppose." That was the last thing she said in her speech.

Grace stood on the dirt pile which put out the fire, she smiled at the audience at the last time and left. No one dared to stop her, everyone just watched as she left.

Grace keeps walking until she is far enough that no one is looking at her anymore. She stopped and looked at her burned hands. It was stinging in pain, some potion would be needed to heal it.

"...I didn't have much mana to spare, it was difficult to not use any spells." Grace murmured.

She took out the [Lunar Crystal] necklace, it was still absorbing mana.

This time, Grace grinned.

But, if this can help fix her relationship, she will do anything. Whatever it takes.

It's... her only hope now.
