Ch 12 Monster's Debut

We had a game against Yokohama Kouhoku Institute. By the 7th innings we were losing 4/2 when the coach saw that Tanba was tired and gathered Alex and Furuya.

Coach- I'm going to send you both out to pitch. Furuya you will be first and you will get 2 innings them Alex you will pitch till the end.

Furuya- Yes sir.

Alex- Yes sir.

Umpire- Pitcher change. Substituting Tanba in the 7 innings is pitcher Furuya.

Crowd 1- Furuya Satoru. Hay that kid is a first year.

Crowd 2- To play a first year in such an important match.

Crowd 3- Is Seidou throwing in the towel.

Yokohama Coach- Hahahaha. They're really underestimating as. Sending a rookie first year in on the mound. Lets give that rookie a taste of the harshness of high school baseball.

Yokohama Team- YES SIR.

Furuya got on the mound and looked at Miyuki for the hand sing and got in his pitching motion and pitched.

<SLAM>- Umpire- Strike one.

Yokohama Coach- What are you doing. The pitcher is just a first year.

<SLAM>- Umpire- Strike two.

<SLAM> < BOOOOM>- Umpire- S-strike three. batter out.

Yokohama Coach- Don't swing at those high balls.

???- Look. It is another first year. But look at him, he looks like an adult.

Alex walked on to the mound and looked at the batter and he can hear the opponents coach talking and smiled at what he herd.

Yokohama Coach- Ok you next batters target this pitcher. There is no way that he can pitch as fast as that Furuya. Just stop swinging at those high balls.

Yokohama Team- Yes coach.

Alex- Haha. This is going to be fun.

When the batter got in the batter box he looked at Alex, Ready for him to pitch. Alex looked at Miyuki for the hand sing and smiled, He activated his Aura looked at the batter and he see's him shacking as he got in his pitching motion and pitched.

<BOOOM> <SLAM>- Umpire- Strike one.

<WOOSH> <SLAM>- Umpire- Strike two.

<WOOSH> <SLAM>- Umpire- Strike three. Batter out.

Yokohama Coach- No. They had another one. NO.

<WOOSH> <SLAM>- Umpire- Strike three. Batter out.

<WOOSH> <SLAM>- Umpire- Strike three. Batter out.

Umpire- Game over. Yokohama Kouhoku Institute wins by 5/4.

???- Wooo. Did you see those two first years. They are monster's.

???- They might have a chance to win this year.

???- With those two new pitcher Seidou has a good chance.

???- Seidou's coaching stuff must be loving it especially there head coach.

Coach- You lot played good to day. Tanba you did well at the start but got sloppy at the end. Furuya you need to throw pitches in the strike zone. Alex good pitching. Now go back to the bus we are leaving. Alex and his team got on the bus Alex looked at his system.

Alex- Hoo. Low spinning ball. That is Tokuchi Tōa's pitch form one outs. Cool if I can get the high spinning ball then I will be almost unstoppable. ( If you guys have not watched one out's you should its good. ) Well I will practice it tomorrow with Chris and see what he thinks of it.

Coach- Go and rest for the rest of the day and we will go back to training tomorrow. Now go.
