Let's Not Divorce

I was a horrible husband, and a scumbag father. Having amnesia wasn’t an excuse. Even so, because of that, I lost my family instantly. In order to save Nero– my son and heir– I killed my daughter Neoma. And then I had to witness Mona, my neglected wife, die in front of me. Why did I have to regain all my memories at that exact moment? I wanted to die with Mona and Neoma. And, just when I thought I could finally be reunited with them, I opened my eyes and realized I turned back time. I returned at the exact moment Mona and I were in the middle of discussing divorce. Divorce? No way in hell would Nikolai divorce Mona this time!

GLUTTON PRINCESS

<"LOOK 103 AT Neoma win an eating contest. She ate plates of sushi in less than hour. Your twin sister knows how to enjoy food.">

Nikolai smiled after sending Nero that text message.

Of course, he also attached the picture of Neoma that he took with Mona's permission.

Nero's reply came quickly: <"That's no twin sister of mine, Abeoji– that's a glutton.">

"How dare you call your noona a 'glutton?'" Nikolai grumbled while sending a reply to Nero. "Having an appetite for food is a good thing."

After scolding his son, he picked up the fruit basket on the table.

Right now, Nikolai was in the apartment next to Mona's place.

Just like what he promised to his wife, he would move out tonight.

It wasn't hard to do anyway since he could just ask his people to pack for him and send his things to the penthouse.

His driver was already waiting for him in the basement parking.

But he couldn't leave the apartment without saying goodbye to Mona and Neoma.

Hence, he rang the doorbell to Mona's place with a fruit basket in his hands. The fruits were good for Neoma since she had eaten a lot of raw meat earlier.

[I remember my daughter enjoys fruits.]

His thoughts were distracted when the door finally opened.

"Yeobo–"

"Nikolai-ssi, please help me," Mona begged in an urgent voice, her face full of worry. It was clear that his wife was on the verge of crying. "Neoma… I think she's sick, and it's bad."

Needless to say, Nikolai's heart dropped to the floor out of worry.

***

[YES, it looks pretty bad.]

Nikolai's heart was thumping hard and fast against his chest when he saw Neoma's condition.

His daughter was curled up on the bed, pale and sweating buckets.

"Eomma, my stomach hurts…" Neoma cried, her eyes shut tight. "Am I dying?"

Nikolai's jaw clenched. "You're not dying, Neoma. Don't say things like that easily."

Neoma opened her eyes, then she squinted as if she was trying to see Nikolai's face better. "Appa…?"

Ah.

He felt a warm feeling in his chest when his daughter called him 'Appa' instead of 'Ahjussi' this time.

"Appa, it hurts," Neoma cried, tears rolling down her face. "My stomach hurts…"

"It will be alright, Neoma," Nikolai assured his daughter, even though he was nervous and worried about Neoma. "Let me carry you and bring you to the hospital."

Instead of answering verbally, Neoma just opened her arms.

Nikolai almost burst into tears.

It reminded him of the time when Neoma was little. His young daughter would often open her arms like that when she wanted him to carry her.

[My baby must be in too much pain.]

Hence, Nikolai didn't waste any more time– he swiftly carried Neoma in his arms.

He had to hold back his tears when his daughter wrapped her arms around his neck and nuzzled her face against his chest– crying because of pain.

[She eats well, so why is my daughter so light?!]

"Yeobo," Nikolai called out to his wife, who was standing by the door, looking all anxious just like him. "We need to bring Neoma to the hospital. My driver is here."

Clearly, both Nikolai and Mona weren't in the right condition to drive.

Mona nodded while wiping the tears off of her face with her hands. "Let me just grab a jacket for Neoma."
