We're Back

Lilica and Kazuya had returned to the human realm. The twins were really excited about their first time to the human world so as soon as they settled down at Imperial Garden, they quickly ran to bother their mother, so that she would take them around town.

"Reika, Leo, Mommy is sorry. Mommy has to help Daddy settle down first. Mommy also need to take care of Rain. I'll let one of the servants bring you to the park. After Mommy's done with everything, let's go tour the city!" Lilica apologized to her two children as she bent down, Rain still in her arms. She kissed the cute twins of hers on the cheek before telling one of the servants to bring the children to a park in Imperial Garden.

The two cheeky brats were not satisfied with their mother's answer but was still excited to go to the park.

5 minutes later

The driver had dropped off the twins at a park for children in Imperial Garden. As it was very secure, the driver didn't need to hang around there, so he went back to the mansion to help his masters clear their suitcases.

The park was very quiet right now as most people who stayed at Imperial Garden didn't have kids. However, the twins were still excited and ran around like crazy.

"Leo~ Let's play hide and seek! I'll count to 10 and you go hide!" Reika suggested cheerfully as she turned her little body around and closed her eyes and started counting.

Leo ran around and found a good spot to hide. He hid behind the tree about 5km away from Reika's current location.

"10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Are you ready???" Reika shouted cheerily as she ran around to find her younger brother.

10 minutes later

Reika had circled around the park several times but still couldn't find Leo. She had started to run out of patience but suddenly, she smelled a sweet fragrance coming from behind her. It was a familiar smell but usually, it wouldn't be this sweet…

Reika turned her back and walked towards the sweet fragrance curiously. The closer she went towards the smell, the more enticing it was to her. Reika came to a stop when she found a sitting figure on the ground beneath the tree.

An orange-brown haired young boy was sitting there, looking at his injured knee. There was blood coming out and the boy was trying his best to suppress it. Reika walked in closer and sat down in front of the boy.

As Reika was still a child and hadn't learned how to control her bloodthirst yet, she instinctively leaned in and started licking the boy's flowing blood.

The boy was startled at the sudden appearance of a beautiful girl. The little girl was so beautiful, her blonde wavy hair, magnetic crimson eyes, fluffy cheeks, delicate skin, all in all, her appearance made the young boy blurt out, "A fairy…"

In the next second, it was as if the boy was back from a dream as he found his injuries healed. However, the same beautiful girl was still in front of him, except her eyes had now become blue instead.

"How are you? Does it still hurt?" Reika asked innocently with her cute angelic voice, bringing the boy back to reality.

"…N-no…It doesn't hurt anymore…" the boy murmured, still unable to believe his eyes.

"Hihi~ I'm Reika! A vampire!" Reika introduced herself honestly.

"I'm Asahi… Wait… a vampire?" Asahi said as he became confused with the way the girl had introduced herself.

"Yep! Actually, I'm what you call a dhampir, a half vampire. But I didn't have any succubus powers like Mommy so I'm more of a vampire!" Reika replied cheerfully.

Asahi's eyes were still full of doubt so Reika continued, "You don't believe me? Vampires can heal wounds by licking it too! I just healed you, you know?" Reika said as she pouted cutely.

As Asahi was still a child and had witnessed it firsthand, he believed her easily. Reika stood up and gave Asahi a hand to help him up. After the both of them had stood up, Reika still continue holding hands with him as she asked, "Are you also from here? We just moved back here to the European one!"

"I also live here! I live in the Japanese-styled one! I was playing hide and seek with my younger sister when I accidentally fell down." Asahi replied cheerfully as he walked hand in hand happily with Reika to the central of the park.

"Ouch!" Reika cried out as she passed by a tree branch and it scratched her face and a drop of blood trickled down.

Asahi was alerted and immediately licked her dripping blood hurriedly, thinking that he may be able to stop her bleeding too, and it worked!

"I'm a vampire so my wounds heal automatically so you don't need to lick it! But thanks anyway!" Reika said cheerfully.

When Asahi heard that, he felt disappointed as his little trick didn't really work.

When the two of them reached the central of the park, Reika spotted Leo with another young girl, holding hands.
