"… Chief Aiga!"
The broad man's boots stop clicking on the hallway's quartz surface as he turns around to face the auburn-girl.
"My daughter, it seems as though something's on your mind."
Taro steps toward him and points to the closed door at the edge of the hall.
"Maro? Vyosa? You have never used these terms to describe our people's latent abilities! You and the High Council told us to conceal our presence for the sake of not allowing the Yak'To to find us… What's so special about this girl? What're you hiding?"
Aiga stoops down and gets on knee, putting a hand on the girl's shoulder.
"It seems as though the goddesses above have blessed us with a person to help us in our time of need. She holds a great power that was lost to us by raiders and our late kin's lust for power. Now, I plan for us to do right with this gift that was so humbly given to us."
He stands up and waves to Taro and continues to walk with Mari and the female guards.
