Proper Earth Bending

As I harnessed my ability for practical use, the space around me transformed dramatically. In an instant, my surroundings shifted, and I found myself standing amidst a dense forest. Instinctively, I gazed upward and was met with the sight of towering trees stretching beyond my view. The sheer beauty of the environment was astonishing, but even more so was the immense power required to bring about such a transformation. It was just mind-boggling. The only person who could make such a transmission happen will have to be Borjana.

She was the true protagonist of this world, the instructor guiding the billions now asleep, making it evident that the global transmission originated from her. Additionally, she claimed time manipulation as one of her abilities. The thought of her powers sent shivers down my spine. Her capacity for transmission surpassed that of Ino, a truly frightening thought given she could span distances over 24,000 miles, positioning her among the ranks of deities.

"Dear participant, the sudden shift in your surroundings may be startling, but take comfort in knowing that this location serves as a training ground to master your abilities. It is crucial, after all, to prevent any misuse of your powers among the populace."

"To begin with, think of your ability as an extension of your body. It is something no one can take away from you. It is yours and under your control, so I expect you to be able to use it with just this explanation."

To be honest, the explanation was quite simple and did not need any excessive explanation because no one taught you how to use your hands. It was just instinctual and needed no guidance.

Taking a deep breath, I focused on manipulating the earth around me. In that moment, a shift occurred within me. It was as if something was spinning and turning; it was exhilarating, and soon, I noticed small mounds of rocks forming around me. I had succeeded, and it was surprisingly straightforward. With the initial experiment proving successful, I proceeded to make minor alterations to the surrounding earth. It was exhilarating, yet I was unable to launch projectiles or create earthen walls. My ability was limited to forming rock mounds and altering a modest area around me.

After a few hours, I had gotten used to using my skill and felt ready to use it on a living organism. Seeing my readiness, Borjana nodded her head, and in front of me, a goblin with a horrendous face appeared before me.

The goblins were far more repulsive than their anime counterparts. Their skin was a sickly green, and they sported long, twisted noses. A foul stench wafted from their breath with every motion. Adding to their revolting appearance was their short stature and bloated bellies. Tears fell for the village girls who perished by these vile creatures.

At this moment, I shuddered at the thought of women in this center falling prey to them, and it was not funny. Just imagining this thing pricking in and out of me made me jump back in fright. I began to wonder how women who are afraid of cockroaches would be able to fight this thing. It felt so far-reaching and mind-boggling. I know most people would die in this state, but it will help prepare their state of mind for the days ahead.
