Vacation House

"Yeah vacation house" Leo said calmly as he starts the van, "I didn't know you were rich" she said.

"Shhh, just a little" Leo said before droving off.

As they were driving Leo saw the public market and decided to stop by and buy a few stuff.

Leo parked the van and step out, but Shye wasn't budging on her seat.

"Aren't you coming?" Leo asked her, "I can't people might see me" she said. Leo opened the door for her, "You don't know how far we had gotten, trust me" Leo assured her but still she won't move.

"I can't go out like this" she said looking at her long sleeve which is now see through because it got wet. "Here have this" Leo gave her his jacket.

"Shall we?" he said offering his hand to her, she grabbed the offered hand and step down the van. "How about Tesoro?" she said pointing at the sleeping cat.

"He's asleep, thank you for reminding we still have to buy things for him" Leo said before locking the doors of the car.

Leo hold Shye's hands tight as they venture towards the market,

"What do you want for dinner?" Leo asked her, "Anything would do" she said looking at the piece of raw steak.

"Be honest, don't worry about the price" Leo said as he picks the best steak,

"Hehe prawns would be nice and some ribs too" Shye said shy, "Sure but you have to help me cook them" Leo said joking.

"Of course I will" Shye said as she look grabs the spices needed, as they were completing the ingredients for dinner, Leo came across someone.

"Sir Leon" a random woman say, Leo was startled to hear his first name, he looked around.

"Sir Leon It's me" It was a girl in a white blouse and white skirt with large breast, Leo looked confused and wonders who she is.

The girl came up close to her, "Uhmm Who are you?" Leo still wonders who she is,

The girl pouts, "It's me Leigh" she said with emphasis, "Leigh!!" he yelled back as he remembers.

Shye felt a little awkward and slightly jealous around the two, she was about to let go on Leo's hand but Leo hold it tightly.

"By the way, this fine young woman right here is someone special, her name is Shye" He introduced her making her cheeks turn red.

"H-Hi, pleasure to meet you" Shye said letting go of his hand and offering a handshake to Leigh,

"I know that eyes I watched so many times before" Leigh replied excitedly, "You're all over the news, What are you doing here right now?" she asked.

"Shhh I'm hiding her from them" Leo explained,

"Ohh is that so?" she stated nodding,

"So how's the house?" Leo asked Leigh, "The house now looks awesome compared to your last visit" Leigh said as she reach for the bags on Shye's other hands.

"Ohh I can handle these" Shye refused to give the bags,

"Haysst, it became a habit of yours already" Leo said,

"Sorry hehe" Leigh apologized, "She was the daughter of the caretaker of our vacation house, she's around my age I guess" Leo explained

Shye just watch as they talk, after a while the two parted.

"See you tomorrow at home" Leo said, Shye also said goodbye "Good night to you Ms. Leigh" Shye said waving goodbye.

"So shall we get on with shopping?" Leo asked Shye, "Yeah" she replied coldly walking towards the small pet shop.

"What's her problem?" Leo asked himself as she runs after her.

They get inside the shop, "You okay?" he asked her, she just nodded and look at the food bowls.

Leo bought every essential for Tesoro and Shye just waited at the door of the shop.

Leo sighed, "Let's go home" he said and Shye steps out the door and walks toward the direction of the van not looking back on Leo.

He was left since Shye rushed towards the van, as he walks he saw two boys holding a box,

"Beautiful flower come buy them" the two of them yelled, Leo approached them.

"Tell me what's the name of the flower boys?" he asked, the two boys was startled by his question.

"Uhmm it is a rose" the other one said carelessly, "Doesn't seem like one" Leo said making the two boys nervous.

"We don't know anything about the flower, we just stole it from there" the younger looking one pointed at a small shed covered made with glass.

"Tsk tsk, you know you shouldn't steal" Leo's manly voice said making the younger one cry, "We're sorry, please don't put us in jail" he said crying.

The crying of the other one makes the older sobbed, "We're sorry, Mister' he said.

"Here's the money, take it to that shack and ell the one who owns it that Mister Leon bought it" he said knowing who's the owner of the greenhouse shed.

The two boys nodded and ran towards the shed as Leo walks toward the van holding the flower in his hand.

Leo softly knocks on the window of the shotgun seat and slowly pop the flower on the window from below.

A beautiful Night-Blooming Cereus, with its white flower blooming.

"Sorry" Leo softly said, "H-How did you find this flower?" Shye suddenly asked,

"Two boys were selling it" Leo asked confused, Shye kissed his forehead.

"Sorry for being mad, it's kind of childish of me" Shye apologizes as she receive the flowers. Leo smiled at her then move towards the drivers seat.

"Let's go home" he said and Shye nodded.

While driving Shye suddenly spoke, "Did you know that this flower is rare?" Shye said.

Leo didn't look surprised, "This is a Night Blooming Cereus, it grows only on desserts" Shye explained, "Is that so?" Leo said.

Leo knew a lot about the flower since he always buy some on the same greenhouse, "Just like in it's name it only blooms at night because it needs to conserve water during the day plus its cooler at night" she continued.

Shye noticed that she was talking a lot, "S-sorry I got too excited" she apologized, "It's fine, I didn't know it was that kind of flower" he replied to keep her talking.

Shye continued giving facts about the flower and as time went by Leo also got interested to the flower.

After half an hour, they finally reach the vacation house. It was a house made of wood, triangular two story cozy house, with a balcony at the second floor and a medium sized pool at the front.

"This is just a little" Shye said as she gaze upon the beautiful architecture of the house.

Leo picked up Tesoro's cage and carried some of the groceries, "This is just a little" Leo said while Shye's eyes wondered around the house.
