The Tipping Point

~~A short moment later in High Heaven Palace's Main Hall~~

"Greetings, to Void Lord Yang Kai, it is good to see you and your family in good health." Lei Jin smiled, accepting the tea for discussion from a well and proper maid servant.

"Likewise, and it seems your family is doing quite well." Yang Kai said, pausing for a moment. "Is it possible you have come to talk about what we discussed last?" He continued.

"I am here to check on the True Rainbow I left in this place." Lei Jin said, swirling the tea and downing it. "If other things happen that would be excellent. However, that's not the main reason." He added.

"Well I for one would very much like to chat with sisters, perhaps we can talk while our children play together." Yu Ru Meng said.

Lei Jin's children were considerably more excited after hearing this. Yang Kai's children on the other hand were mostly excited as well. Though there was one who was a bit shy though it was quite clear to Lei Jin that that boy was mostly acting. And that his eyes were focused on one of Lei Jin's girls.

"It seems that we should move our discussion to a more open area. Let's let our children play some games and talk. Perhaps something will come of it." Lei Jin smirked, basically telling his girls that the boys here were on par or better than his standards. Which led to some inevitable giggling amongst them.

"Very well then. Let's move to the outdoor courtyard." Yang Kai said, standing up. Then turning to his kids. "You must behave well. Understand?" He added.

"This child understands fathers words and will behave." They all said.

"Father! Are these the boys you spoke of? They are so cute!" One of Yang Kai's Daughters said excitedly. Showing exactly who her mother was.

Yang Kai gently patted her on the head and smiled. "Just be patient and have fun playing with someone your age. Make friends and play together while father talks with his guest." He said.

~~In Yang Kai's Courtyard~~

The children ran around and played. Lei Jin and Yang Kai were talking about the situation in regards to the war against Ink. As there were far too many details that Yang Kai had still yet been made aware of. The wives of both men were talking about a slew of different things ranging from how cute each others children were to new techniques to get their husbands… excited and feel good.

They talked for days on end. And even weeks passed. Lei Jin had been informed by the others there about the names of Yang Kais children, so he would at least know their names in case any accidents happened. However, no one could expect what happened next. It was just at that moment when Yang Kai experienced an odd feeling he didn't know how to explain.

"Are You alright, Brother Yang? The talks of the enemy our Human Race faces didn't rattle your nerves did it?" Lei Jin taunted jokingly, since they had just finished talking about the current strength of both sides.

"No, it's not that, I felt something off just now. Like I had lost a person's trust or something." Yang Kai said, his eyes widened. And taking out the loyalty list. "The names that are missing now… they are in the Black Prison Great Territory. This… What could this… how? They are both gone so it's not a promotion. Something happened there." He said, with a bead of sweat dripping down his face.

"I see, it seems my efforts to keep that seal on were in vain. Very well, I'll give the order right away." Lei Jin said, standing up and cracking his neck. "Mobilize to the Black Prison Great Territory at once. Ink has moved. TO WAR!" Lei Jin said, and his voice was heard through the True Rainbow.

In just a few moments after, the Cave Heaven Paradises Armies gathered and launched. It was both a sight to behold and a worrisome sight. Those not selected to go and fight remained behind worried beyond comparison as they remembered something. They all had a similar thought… "What if it's a Royal Lord?" as they slumped back down in their chairs finding it difficult to find hope in that case.

"Alright, you should begin assessing your forces, I expect you to aid in whatever way you can as well. For now, I will go first. As I am the only one available that has the ability to handle a Royal Lord. It is a shame though that the other 4 are not ready for such a battle just yet." Lei Jin, sighed, annoyed but not stressed.

"Father!" His children lined up with a look on their face. It was one mixed with hopefulness, respect, and worry, yet all the same. They knew that their father had to be the one to do this. "Father is… Father is strong! Us children wish father a glorious victory!" They said, cupping their hands and bowing deeply. The point was to try and hide their tears.

"Don't worry about your father too much. He is going because he can stop the enemy. Not just to buy time." Qing Ning said, hugging her little girl.

"Husband!" Xin Xia shouted and then kissed Lei Jin with enough passion the sheer illumination of the scene would rival a thousand suns. Then stepped away. "Go kick their asses. And make them regret ever existing." She added, with confidence.

Lei Jin didn't say another word and left at a speed that had everyone confused. It was this that led his wives to have a slight worry, though…

"He seems excited! Heh, good." Zi Rong said then chuckled.

"What is there to be excited about?" Yang Kai asked, pondering. He was no stranger to fighting and killing the enemy. However, he never felt excited to deal with an enemy save for… "Oh…" He added.

"Yep, he finally gets to unleash some true pain on the Ink Clan. the likes of which they have never felt before. He has waited quite a long time relative to his age. He is younger than you after all." Ling Shi smiled, looking at the streak of rainbow light.
