The Final Battle (6)

As Lei Jin was beating the tar out of Ink, one of the groups of 9th ranks fighting an Ink Giant Spirit God, got a burst of inspiration. The 7 of them were close friends and had started cultivating together. Originally having lived inside Lei Jin's Inner Domain, they lived in peace and abundant resources. But what they liked more was worshiping and honoring Lei Jin. The one who granted them their right to exist and to live.

~~A Few Minutes Earlier~~

"Brothers! Supreme Master Lei Jin, the one who gave us this life. The one who gave us the right to cultivate. Is now fighting the enemy's most powerful master! Let us not sully his great name! And let us fight with honor! Let us achieve something truly grand! Form the array!" One of the seven life long friends called out, after having claimed the life of a Royal Lord.

"Right! Let us show the true power granted to us by the one true Supreme Master!" The other 6 called out in unison, as they too each felled a Royal Lord.

Seven 9th ranks came together and began the 7 directions battle array formation. In that moment the ability they gave off was enough to clear the void around them. Not even the Royal Lords dared approach these 7 life long friends while they were in such a state. Only Ink's clones, the Ink Giant Spirit Gods could possibly fight this power.

"Battalion Commander! Allow us to take the final Ink Giant Spirit God!" They all said in a unanimous petition to their 10th rank Commanders. Their voices filled with an intense desire to fight the Ink Giant Spirit God.

"Oh? Hmm, I don't see why not. Have fun. But you must make sure of one thing. WIN! And, KILL THE ENEMY!" The 10th rank Battalion Commander said, chuckling.

"KILL THE ENEMY!" The seven 9th ranks called out with all their force. And they charged forward with mind boggling speed. It was borderline 10th rank speed. A feat that truly stumped those who had a chance to witness it.

"KILL THE ENEMY! DOWN WITH INK!" The army chanted, sending a cold chilling sensation down the Ink Clan's spines.

"Hey! They aren't the only ones who can do that! Come sisters! Let's do the same!" A woman called out in the void. "After seeing those stinky men pull something like that off, I'll be damned if I don't show off as well." She thought to herself, as her 6 closest friends came together and formed a 7 directions array as well.

Then there was another spot where a similar situation occurred. Though their ideas of joining forces were simply out of competition with the other two groups.

"You damn weaklings! Get out of the way!" An Ink Giant Spirit God roared in anger. Making a swiping motion like he was swatting flies.

"Ahahaha! You have to be quicker than that, you dumb pig!" One of the 9th rank's jeered.

"How dare livestock call their owner and master livestock! I'll eat you for that!" The angry Ink Giant Spirit God glared with a thick and heavy killing intent.

~~Later~~

It had been a full day of fighting and the Ink Clan's numbers had been reduced to meager levels. At this point calling them a grand army was laughable at best, and an utterly insane joke at worst. In perspective, there was no longer a single Ink Clan Royal Lord. On top of that among the remaining few billion Ink Clan, were only a few Territory Lords. All of them were either dying or injured.

Even the Ink Giant Spirit Gods, as mighty as they were, had not just been killed. The bodies of the Ink Giant Spirit Gods were completely destroyed. This left no way for the Ink Clan to recover any strength. Moreover, they had no resources to use in creating new Clansmen. Even if they did have resources, it wouldn't help in the slightest. There simply wasn't any time for the clansmen to be created, and then grow.

The battle, one-sided beating that Lei Jin was dishing out on Ink, kept Ink from helping his Ink Clan. It was truly a hopeless situation for the Ink Clan. However, everyone was confused about what Lei Jin was doing. There were some that had an idea or two about it. But in the end there was no way they could guarantee their thoughts. Until a huge revelation occurred.

"Ink! He has weakened considerably!" Yang Kai exclaimed, having been the first to sense any definitive results.

"Indeed he has. I feel like even if it was just two of us, we could guarantee victory over that detestable bastard." Hong Xiang Ling said, making a fist.

"YOU! WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME!" Ink Roared in a furious anger.

"Oh? You still have the energy to yell. Hmm, it seems like I haven't beaten you half to death enough yet. I guess I should continue to do it a bit more." Lei Jin said in a calm voice as if he was unbothered by Ink's outburst.

"TELL ME WHAT YOU DID!" Ink Yelled again, only this time he launched a beam-like attack from his mouth as well.

"Hmm, I just proved to the world that you are unfit to be fed an unending source of energy from it. The world has now revoked your status as a Supreme Being." Lei Jin answered calmly, confused why Ink didn't understand it already. "You mean, you didn't know that already?" He said, verbally jabbing Ink.

"WHAT! No, I am eternal! Infinite and unending! I reign Supreme!" Ink complained angrily.

"Really? Why would you even claim to be such a thing? I haven't used any of my actual strength to fight you. You are simply not worthy of being my opponent. You're not eternal. And you're not infinite. You only said that because you felt that way due to your parasitic nature upon the world. True Eternal and infinite beings are ones that produce from nothing. Not eat away at everything to create nothing." Lei Jin explained.

"DAMN YOU BASTARD!" Ink yelled furiously.

Ink in his fury unleashed a barrage of attacks in an attempt to kill Lei Jin. To the Ink Clan this looked like a blessing. Their mighty master was going all out so it was only a matter of time before they won, right?
