Ruo Xi Up To Speed

Qing Ning and his wives spent this time with Gu Pan talking about all the things they could. At least until Gu Pan officially became Lei Jin's 7th wife. So she was only brought up to speed on how their family works. They would also explain a small portion of what it meant to be Lei Jin's wife. The abilities he could share with his wives and just how much he cares for them.

The time finally came to go back to the gathering location. The place Lei Jin had first arrived when he came to the 3000 Worlds. Only this time he was not traversing through the space tunnel this time. Rather he was going to make sure the reinforcements this time would be far better off. Knowing it was time he stood up and straightened his hanfu.

"It's time, Elder, if anyone comes to find this one please inform them I have left on business and will return when I have finished." Lei Jin said.

"Rest assured I will inform them. Though, why is it that Young Pillar will return here?" the Elder asked with a look of puzzlement.

"I sense there is something else I must do here. Forgive me for not relaying the whole truth of the matter." Lei Jin said, before disappearing into a ship.

The disciples all paid respects to Lei Jin's party as they left. There were 2 Supreme Elders on board the ship as well. So it was customary to do so. Of course everyone there breathed a sigh of relief now that such powerful existences were now no longer in the area.

On the ship Ruo Xi seemed to be quite confused about what was going on. What was it that was so important that they needed to leave? They were going back anyway right? So it had to be something good or something really bad. Her curiosity was now getting the better of her. Everyone could see it on her face.

"Sister Ruo Xi, you seem to have some questions or worries about what is going on here. Were you not raised by Paradise?" Qing Ning asked, playing her role in the play to ease her curiosity.

"Sister Qing Ning is half right. I was born in Star Boundary and after the Demon War there I left to join my ancestors Paradise. So there are many things I don't know about the Cave Heaven Paradises." Ruo Xi said, revealing the link with Star Boundary. "If it hadn't been for Yang Kai I would have been married off to a toad of a man already." she added, sinking into herself.

"I see… While I don't mind sharing this information. You need to do something in exchange." Lei Jin said, getting mildly serious for a moment.

"What is it?" Rou Xi asked, clinging to the chance to learn about these things.

"You need to swear you won't tell Yang Kai the secret. If you can not do this I can only send you back with a Supreme Elder to guard you. Know that this secret is not something just anyone can know. Do you understand?" Lei Jin said, holding himself in a serious manner.

"This one promises to hide the secret for as long as needed! I only wish to know where we are headed." Rou Xi said, cupping her hands and bowing slightly to Lei Jin.

"Well then, firstly. The Cave Heavens and Paradises have a powerful enemy. We call this enemy the Ink Clan. We have been fighting the Ink Clan since ancient times. It is a seemingly infinite army born of pure evil." Lei Jin started to explain.

"Were the others from before the ones that were on their side from the beginning too?" Ruo Xi asked.

"No. Those were fellow human race. They had only been corrupted by the ability 'Ink Force' used by the Ink Clan. Its very nature is to corrupt 'World Force' and Kill all living beings that don't assimilate to the Ink Clan's side. You should have heard what I had said after I woke the Ink Disciples up." Lei Jin said, opening a jar of wine.

"I did, I understand they were taken advantage of by the Ink Force but what would they say they made a mistake? Did they let the Ink Force corrupt them?" Ruo Xi asked.

"Sister Ruo Xi's guess is correct. Those ones had willingly given themselves up to the Ink Clan. However, in exchange the person themselves is put into a sort of slumber where they experience the nightmare of killing their own friends and family. In short, the person they become is not themselves. A loving husband and wife that dote on their child would turn into monsters and kill their child. This is what the Ink Force is. It is why we fight against it." Lei Jin said.

"So why would someone willingly give themselves up to the Ink Force? It doesn't sound like there is any benefit so there must be something that entices one to act in such a way." Ruo Xi said, showing a clear understanding of the Ink Clan thus far.

"Simple, with the aid of the Ink Force, one can advance all the way to 9th Rank Open Heaven. Therein lies the danger of the Ink Force. Imagine if the whole 3000 Worlds found out about this. The sheer number of Ink Disciples would be unbearable. It is because of this very fact I have ordered the Cave Heavens and Paradises to search for these Ink Disciples. The Supreme Elders have been given an ability that allows them to see those who have been corrupted." Lei Jin said, pouring out the wine into everyone's bowls.

"I see, my Senior Sister has a good man as her husband in the future." Ruo Xi said, drinking some of the wine with everyone. "Wait, why is it that they can only see the corrupted ones? Isn't there a method to wake them up like what you did?" she then added realizing the specific language Lei Jin had just used.

"No, I am currently the only one capable of performing the technique. It has to do with my divine body. My wives are capable of utilizing some of the basic uses of my abilities provided they are in my residence but aside from that only my offspring will ever be capable of such a thing. This is because my Divine Body can be passed down to my offspring." Lei Jin said.

"I hate to interrupt but we have arrived at the gathering point. I feel we should continue this conversation another time." Supreme Elder Azure Heart said. "Hey! Where's my wine!" she then pouted.

Lei Jin just handed her the rest of the jar. "I know you prefer drinking from the jar." he said as he left the room.
