Return To Azure Void & The Emperor Realm

A few more days passed and smiles began to glow. She had fully healed her injuries this time. And much faster as a result of having Lei Jin there. She fully transformed into her adult form and her cultivation soared back to the 9th order Open Heaven Realm.

Lei Jin watched helplessly. His only friend hadn't been a little girl all this time. It was Yin-Yang's old Ancestor. Lei Jin left the scene quickly. His emotions in shambles. He couldn't even think clearly. That was evident when Smiles looked at him.

You see Lei Jin had actually fallen to his knees and curled up balling up his hands into the ground. He couldn't think straight and could only do this. He had now lost his way again. The people he had trusted in disappointed and deceived him. The one lady even went as far as to act like family.

"Lei Jin, thanks to you I healed my injuries more quickly. You've done a great thing for the whole pass." Smiles said, lifting his head up to see his face. She was surprised and worried by what she saw, it was like he reverted back inside his knowledge sea and blocked off contact.

"I didn't realize this would hurt him so much. Should we have just told him what was going on? He might have understood the stakes." Wu Qing asked. He showed up to great Smiles after her recovery.

"It's useless to worry about the things in the past." Smiles said. It wasn't that she was worried about Lei Jin. No, she knew this was what his master had asked for. It was why she had to do things this way. This was a test of his will. It was incredibly cruel to do to a child but it was necessary to do. She took a look at what was happening in his Knowledge sea. What she saw was far from what the outside shell was doing.

Lei Jin was cultivating. Memories of his family playing by. Then the day he lost everything. Then the Memories of the time spent with Smiles up to the time she finished recovering. His Knowledge Sea was expanding rapidly and becoming rich with… Emperor Qi!

This experience had forced some of his Qi to transform into Emperor Qi, which instantly finished the conversion of saint Qi. This was because of the dominating pressure of Emperor Qi. It finished the conversion rapidly.

Outside it could be seen that he was showing signs of advancing. Smiles put him in her small universe. She wanted to see what the incredible effect he has on it. Even though Wu Qing was an 8th order and she was a 9th order there should still be enough of a change for her to notice.

Lei Jin didn't care about being moved like that since it was known that his breakthroughs were massive. The heavenly way tribulation for his Dao Source promotion was so rich in energy and time principles Smiles Universe World could tell right off the bat her World force was rapidly strengthening. Even though she had healed her wounds it would be difficult to make a complete recovery.

A bead of sweat could be seen on her neck. "He is quite the young man. The Rainbow Light body he has is amazing. Whichever woman is lucky enough to land him will likely have their rank restrictions loosened over time." Smiles said softly. "Though as he is now, giving a complete heal to anyone is the most he can do. At some point he might have similar effects as the profound valley spirit fruit." She thought to herself.

It was best to keep the second bit to herself. If his master really wanted to send him to the 3000 worlds he would have to keep some secrets.

Lei Jin had spent a month inside Smiles' Old Ancestors Universe World. It took that long to finish everything. Once he came out as a dao Source realm the aura he had gave a similar strength to that of a 2nd order Emperor. Even all of his Qi had finished transforming.

"I apologize to the several seniors. I had shown you such a display. I wasn't expecting that the only friend I had would turn out to be not only a senior but also a friend of my master's." Lei Jin said, bowing slightly and cupping his hands. "Still though, even if it was a ruse, disrespecting my parents is incredibly hateful. I won't easily forgive that person." He continued.

"Hmmm… I see, well. I'll tell you something interesting. You passed the trial your master asked us to give you." Tang Qiu said laughing.

"Trial? Then why would my master entrust this task to another? Was he actually in seclusion this time?" Lei Jin asked, pondering his thoughts.

"There are several things. Firstly he wanted you to experience making a friend. And since I was injured and healed in a roundabout way thus I could fill the role. Secondly he wanted you to experience a glimpse of what it was my human race Mountain Passes are here fighting the Ink Clan to protect." Smiles said.

Lei Jin's experience wasn't enough and still didn't feel like it was anything other than making a friend. This is what his expression conveyed.

Smiles sighed at this sight. "Seeing that expression, it seems that nothing is as good as seeing the real thing up close. Alright that man will have my support. There are too many reasons why it needs to happen." She said, convincing herself.

"Support for what? Senior." Lei Jin asked.

"We're going to send you back to the 3000 worlds. You're a direct disciple of Azure Void Pass Old Ancestor. It's only right that you get to see your home. But I have a non-negotiable condition. You must reach the peak of the 3rd order Emperor Realm and condense a Dao seal. Once you get that then I'll convince them to send you to the 3000 worlds." Smiles, Old Ancestor said.

"That means, I'll see my parents home!" Lei Jin said.

"I have a feeling that you'll have more responsibilities than that. Since your divine body can be passed down you will have to find yourself some good women with good temperaments. Also, once you reach the Open Heaven realm you need to test several things." Smiles said. "That's all, go back to your master now. I'm certain he will be surprised by how fast you grew. Seriously 3 major Realm promotions in a little more than 2 years. Your rate of growth is terrifying." She continued. Then waved her hand as he was at the teleport array.

With the connection established he left the playful Yin-Yang pass behind and arrived back at his home. The first thing he did was go to see his master.

"Master, I have returned from Yin-Yang pass." Lei Jin said, kneeling before his master.

"Good. It seems you made some progress Lei Jin. That's good. You're the pillar Disciple of my Azure Void Cave Heaven, your growth is the stabilization of my Azure Void Cave Heaven." Old Ancestor said, looking at Lei Jin as he stood up.

"Thank you master, I don't deserve your praise." Lei Jin said.

"I want to send you back to the 3000 worlds. This place is not a good place. So I'll start making it happen. You'll be the messenger to the 3000 worlds. But you won't be able to go through if you don't have the strength to do so. Remember this, and cultivate well." The Old Ancestor said.

"Disciples will cultivate with purpose. I only fear that my progress will be slower from here on, Master." Lei Jin said.

"Whether you reach the Dao Seal in 10 years or 50 years is not a big difference. So don't worry about it. Just make sure you don't make any mistakes." Old Ancestor said, "You should go now and practice." He continued.

Lei Jin left quickly. He was going to cultivate his methods. It was time to grow stronger. No, it was always time to grow stronger.

He opened the restriction around his place and started to add on to his list of techniques. The time principles he cultivated were profound and absolute. However he had a thought "what would happen if I could learn some space Principles too? I could likely combine them and create some incredible moves."

With his determination he searched for something related to space principles. While he was cultivating these methods he could tell at first his talent with space principles would be nothing compared to the time principles. Another thing was that he found his Origin Essence Crystal to be different. It had grown stronger and smaller. It was about a third of the size but many times stronger.

"Hmmm…. I wonder? Can I do it?" Lei Jin thought to himself. He cultivated in earnest for years. During this time he let his cultivation grow on its own. He was hyper focused on this other matter.

You see he had finished creating a second and separate Crystal. This one carried the Space Dao. And after he had finished it, Lei Jin found that he had an easier time comprehending the mysteries of the dao of space.

He had also cultivated a third one of these crystals. This one had the active and passive effects of the Rainbow Light Divine Body's healing methods. All of these together could seriously make someone seem like an insanely powerful cultivator. He didn't stop there. He wasn't going to leave until he was a peak Dao Source Realm.

Years passed and Lei Jin was now 18 years old. He had cultivated for such a long time in seclusion. However this time was short in the eyes of others. Yet he had such massive improvements in such a short time.

This was thanks to his time principles. He could experience a year within a month. Provided he cultivated within his Knowledge Sea. So his soul would age slightly faster but with the support of his Divine Body. All things would be stitched together.

He needed a good place to break through. He found one located in the pass. He sat down and began to trigger the tribulation. Even if the Ink Clan wanted to do anything about this it would take a whole siege force. And the Pass wouldn't let that happen.

The heavenly way's tribulation appeared and grew to a frighteningly massive size. It was something they thought only someone in the low rank Open Heaven realm would be able to trigger.

This time however. Lei Jin had already finished turning his Qi into Emperor Qi. This baptism had world force in it. The lighting struck endlessly for what seemed like weeks. At the end of this flurry, the baptism condensed and struck down one last massive wave of energy. This was an Azure Void Thunder. It was massive enough that the residual energy was enough for some fifth ranks to begin cultivating.

Lei Jin rose to the sky. Opening his eyes and radiating a powerful aura. He could be said to be as imposing as a theoretical maximum Great Emperor. In the next 5 breaths his realm stabilized at the 1st Order Emperor Realm. The youngest Emperor Realm in human history.

Lei Jin landed and greeted his master. "Master, this Disciple has advanced to the Emperor Realm." He said, cupping his hands showing his respect.

"Ahahaha, you've done well. Your parents would be proud to see this improvement. Even still you must not get arrogant and force your advancement. Just let it happen whenever it does." The Old Ancestor said.

"This disciple understands, and will not force things." Lei Jin said.

"Good, now then. Since you're an Emperor I'd like to see if you understand something else." The Old Ancestor said.

"This disciple knows why you wish for me to form my Seal before I leave. It is to determine the degree of my potential. That is to say what rank I can directly promote too." Lei Jin said.

This was in fact the correct answer. "Good, then you should practice well." The Old Ancestor said before leaving.

This event was shocking since many people were now promoting to the 6th rank Open Heaven just after Lei Jin's promotion. Teams were sent out of the pass to guard these people. And Lei Jin would go around helping to heal the injuries of many cultivators. His experience in the art of healing had grown tremendously.

Some Open Heaven realms that lost parts of their foundation reported they felt a calm and soothing force from Lei Jin's Rainbow Light. They couldn't be too sure but this light might eventually be able to restore the foundation a cultivator had lost. Even still, it was nothing compared to a profound valley spirit fruit.

These reports kept coming in over the years. As Lei Jin grew older and subsequently stronger it only continued to add credibility to that theory. However, it had been a decade and Lei Jin had gained an immense amount of experience. His cultivation had risen to the peak of the 3rd Order Emperor Realm.
