Yang Kai saw that Lei Jin had indeed healed Lan Xun's soul. He also did not fail to notice the massive drain on Lei Jin this treatment had caused. He was hesitant to ask but he had too. So a short conversation happened.

"You have healed someone as close as family to me. I am grateful. So I hesitate to ask if I could have a few moments to bring Lan Xun up to speed on what has happened." Yang Kai said, mildly afraid. Such a powerful healer and he just appeared one day. Surely he had some crazy background.

"I see, then for the sake of the patient's health please take the time you need. It's for the best wouldn't want to have her worry about matters that have passed." Lei Jin said, attempting to hide his exhaustion.

"I appreciate the kindness of Junior Lei Jin." Yang kai said before the guests left the room together.

Lei Jin breathed a sigh of relief. "That took far more than I had expected. Fortunately if this happens again, it shouldn't be as exhausting." He said, downing a whole pot of tea.

"Ahahaha, it's good you've healed her. But you're not just tired are you?" The supreme Elder said.

"The Supreme Elder is getting hard to hide things from. I have to send a report to my master about this matter. He is going to be abjectly furious. This woman had formed quite an interesting seal. It most certainly is stronger than 5th rank. I believe it's close to the upper end of the 6th rank" Lei Jin said, not happy about this development.

"She is okay now. Does this matter have to go to the Old Ancestor?" Qing Ning asked. She wasn't questioning for the sake of it but rather so Lei Jin could think about it.

"The thing is, that I, the Pillar Disciple of Azure Void, was the one who healed her. What I discovered was more than enough for me to tell that such damage could only be healed by a legendary treasure or by my own innate talent. I don't wish to worry my master over this." Lei Jin thought for a moment. "Hmm, Supreme Elder, and all the other elders. Make sure that everyone knows not to perform forced soul searching. If I catch wind of this happening again the consequences will be severe. I'd like this message sent immediately. Along with a summons of the perpetrators' masters." Lei Jin said, in a tone he has never used before. He was furious that people with such a background were acting this heinously.

"I'll send the message at once." The Supreme Elder said disappearing from the room quickly.

Yang Kai and the others who were talking outside saw the flash of light whizzing by at a speed they couldn't even comprehend. Lan Xun didn't even see it.

"Good, now then Lei Jin, I heard what you did at that tournament. Defending your wives' honor like that. How romantic." Elder Mei said. Then staring back at Elder Kong.

"Mother-in-law, I don't deserve any praise. I had allowed their vile mouths to continue speaking for far too long." Lei Jin said.

"Don't be so hard on yourself. The mission required you to stay still for a moment. I'm sure you wouldn't have let them go on in any other way." Elder Kong said.

"Husband, if you want to pay us back for that. Us sisters can certainly think of…" all his wives said. Then looking at each other and giggling lightly. "Few things you could do." They then finished saying.

"Naturally, that isn't something you need to ask for wives of mine. I will always be sure to give you lots of love in whatever form you desire." Lei Jin said, giving each of them a little taste of the aura they had all felt once before. Only a small one but this was enough.

Yang Kai, Yue He and Lan Xun had come back in the room and noticed this little bit.

"Young Lei Jin, I have returned. I'd like to thank you properly before leaving." Yang Kai said.

"Ahahaha, I see, so you'd like to thank me properly? Forgive me for not saying what this will be now. Just follow me closely." Lei Jin said, standing back up and walking out of the hall.

Yang Kai was confused but Yue He knew what was in the direction Lei Jin was heading.

"Yang Kai, go with zero reservation. If my guess is correct, that direction holds something I should not speak lightly of. Simple words are not enough to explain this place." Yue He said.

"I'm not worried about it. Lei Jin seems to be a good young man." Yang Kai said.

"Yang Kai, this man who healed me earlier. I'd like to ask his parents if it is possible…" Lan Xun asked, getting cut off.

"Lan Xun, please leave the rest of your question for another time. Lei Jin has circumstances." Yue He said, unable to get anything else out.

"You don't need to worry. If there is an opportunity I will naturally help ask for you." Yang Kai said.

Lei Jin could hear everything going on and his wives' could as well. However it wasn't their place to say this and since Lei Jin remained quiet so did they.

Yang Kai was perceptive and formed an idea as to why no one, including his own force's protector, refused to say anything. There were few reasons why and fortunately none he knew well. But perhaps Lan Xun would know.

A short walk later they arrived at a simply awe inspiring shrine. The visitors were simply astonished. Even Yue He. She had seen it before but this just proves how magnificent this shrine was.

Lei Jin turned around and began to speak. "Senior, if you wish to thank me properly. Then share a jar with my parents and this child of theirs." He said, then waited for a response.

Yang Kai was in complete awestruck; such a shrine was even more expensive than the one he and the great emperors had made for those who lost their lives in the demon war of the star boundary. And again even better than the shrine that they had for those who fell in the most recent war.

"I would be honored." Yang Kai said, realizing this was the only right answer.

"And how about you?" Lei Jin said, looking at Lan Xun.

"I would love to meet brother Lei Jin's parents." Lan Xun said, giving Lei Jin a look as if to say I know what it's like to lose a parent.

His wives' on the other hand raised their brows to her response and noted this remark.
