Mother & Her Children?

"These two cuties are the same legendary beings! But why do I feel like this?" Ruo Xi said, floating over to the twins with a mothers instinct to hug her child. And she did.

The twins, confused, looked at Yang Kai. And then they closed their eyes, tearing up as if they had been reunited with their mother. Yang Kai, witnessing this, almost couldn't stand it himself. Wanting to go back and hug his own kids.

"I should probably leave you to it then. Ruo Xi, take this and use the materials there to cultivate here. Brother Lei Jin said you should if there were to be some connection. And there has been." Yang Kai said, tossing over an artifact world with a seemingly endless supply of resources. And then prepared to leave.

"Wait, Junior Brother, what is going on? I don't understand. Who is this Lei Jin person?" Brother Huang called out.

"Brother Lei Jin… he is… undoubtedly the single strongest human alive. In fact… His strength is so high I can't really tell the difference between you two and him. He single handedly fought against the Ink Clan's Royal Lords. And is able to cleanse… well… destroy the Ink force to be more precise." Yang Kai explained.

"Bring him here! I want to meet him! I want to meet the man who told Mother to come back." Sister Lan said, completely set on calling Ruo Xi, mother.

"Yes that's right Mother came back and I want to know who it was that was able to see such a connection." Brother Huang said, in a rare moment where he backed up his sister.

"Yang Kai, I followed you here to meet these two and now I'm already being called a mother. I find this quite funny. I wonder what it's like to actually be a mother and birth my own child. I'll have to ask one of Brother Yang's wives, or one of Brother Lei Jin's… many women."Ruo Xi said, not disliking the notion. Even if it was weird to be called mother by the two oldest and supreme beings of the 3000 Worlds.

"I only did what Brother Lei Jin suggested. I'm sure he didn't think there was going to be anything that happened either." Yang Kai said, knowing that when a woman says the words he just heard… It generally means naked in 1 2 3. So he was eager to leave.

"Then why did he prepare something like this in advance?" Ruo Xi said, holding the Artifact world in her hands.

"Because he is the Young Pillar and always prepared for the alternative event. Even as we speak now he is attempting to grow stronger to deal with the Ink Clan's Inked Giant Spirit God. I wish I could help him with something. Other than providing a good betrothal match for his children." Yang Kai said.

"Here! With this you should be able to deal with the Ink force as well. You'll need our power to pull it off first though." Sister Lan said, as the twins bestowed a mark on Yang Kai's hands.

"And some more resources to use. If you use it correctly it should give the Ink Clan quite the beating. It's a shame I can't go with you." Brother Huang said.

"I know! Bring him here! I want to see this strong man! He might become Father one day. I want to be sure he is strong enough to handle the pressure of protecting Mother!" Sister Lan said, making a cute pouty face as she hugged Ruo Xi.

"Ahahaha, I don't think that will happen. He already has 9 wives and over 300 concubines. I don't think they will accept another into the mix now. And it isn't possible to bring him here now. Without his deterrence in the Black Prison Territory the Ink Clan would be emboldened. In fact it's fair to say that it is because he is there that my Human Race is still able to live today. Though I'll let him know about your wishes to see him. For now though Ruo Xi should focus on Cultivating. I'll go and inform Brother Lei Jin of the results of this matter. I wish you good fortune." Yang Kai said, leaving through the Domain Gate.

"Wahn! I… I wanted to know more about this Lei Jin person! Mommy, why is Junior Brother Yang so mean! He could have stayed longer, right?" Sister Lan cried, burying her face into Ruo Xi's stomach.

"Don't worry so much. Brother Yang Kai has things he must do. I'm sure he wants to break through to the 7th rank as soon as he can. The amount of battles he is allowed to take part in is also limited right now." Ruo Xi explained, comforting Sister Lan.

"Really? Why is he limited? Can't he fight in every one that happens?" Brother Huang asked confused as to why someone would limit the number of battles one could take part in.

"It was a strategy that Lei Jin devised. And it has shown far better results already. In the first ten years of fighting, the amount of gains cultivators had from the situation there were doubled and with half the effort. It provided a chance for people to talk about their experience with others and gain new insight. While allowing the weary to rest well before going into battle again. I like the plan since it has provided quite the good result thus far. Yang kai doesn't like it though because he likes to test his limits more often. But even he can't deny he has grown much faster this way than previously. Moreover, the people that will be sent to the Ink Battlefield next are going to be leagues more experienced than previously. I'm sure that is the biggest reason why Brother Lei Jin is doing this." Ruo Xi said, explaining in a bit more detail than the twins expected.

"How does mother know so much about this?" Sister Lan asked cutely and curiously.

"Because my senior sister Gu Pan is Brother Lei Jin's 7th wife. She tells me a lot of things including a few spicy things. But that doesn't matter now. I'm curious about this cultivation thing they were so insistent upon." Ruo Xi said, and began cultivating.
