After 2 hours searching for any trace of Hua Xia around the cave entrance and find nothing, Emperor Lam give up and find the way back to the mansion. At the abandoned mansion he combing the place again in hope of finding Li, but when twilight is approaching, Emperor Lam has no choice but return to the town. When the next morning come, Emperor Lam brought a couple of men from the town guard, and retrace his way back to the cave entrance in the wood, to re-examining Hua Xia's underground hideout. When they venture into the cave, some 10 -15 lias from the entrance, they find a small room, built into a small nature cave room with wooden panels, inside it's a small bed with some living utensils, also there are children clothes and a self-make ragdoll. This seem to be where Li and Hua Xia was stayed in the past months.

After went through the tunnel and return to the room under the ground, they realized that the place is actually a large basement beneath the mansion. At the northern wall of the basement is a stone staircase lead to a trap door to the surface. Emperor Lam recall the northern part of the mansion is cover in rubbles of the collapsed roof, no wonder the previous search can't found this trap door. Also Emperor Lam later learn that this mansion was belong to a rich man who's a part of a huge smuggling ring from Chihan, the mansion was use as a drop point and warehouse of the smuggling operation. After the smuggling ring busted by Imperial officer, the mansion felt in to disrepair and abandoned.

They quickly found the body of the mage, who Emperor Lam fought yesterday. And the accompany guards recognized the dead body is the assistance mage of the town mayor. So it seems he is another indoctrinated victim of Hua Xia. After a few minutes searching the basement. They were horrified by the things they found in the eastern corner of the basement, things so horrible some of the men throw up on the spot upon set eyes on them. There were 2 of seem to be… blobs of flesh, each chained inside a makeshift wooden cage. One of them is bloated and in the advance state of decay, covered in maggots and leaking foul liquid, the other was in the final dry remain state. Not only that, those blobs are clearly resemblance human figure and wearing clothes, that later had been confirmed belong to the missing girls. Inside the cages, faecal material littered the floor, and also around those cage was covered with dry blood splatters, bloody hand prints and bloody clawing marks. Indicated the 2 victims were suffered immeasurably before their turn into… whatever these abominations are and their eventually death, not far from those case, are tables also splattered with blood, and lab equipment.
