Chapter 2: Transmigration

In a space devoid of light, the two souls that shine brighter than the rest had been floating aimlessly. They were the soul of Blaize and Allisa.

These soul has been aimlessly wandering for thousands of years since they died in the planet, Tyrell.  This isn't the first time Allisa and Blaize enter that space but whenever they enter it. They still felt that same numb feeling, they cant communicate with each other nor move their limbs. They are just a soul who exists in the rift between life and death.

They were familiar with the concept of this rift since they've been coming here whenever they die. This rift was the [Space of Renewal] where souls renew to reincarnate into another world. One thing they notice, you cannot reincarnate in the same world more than once. In this space, you will lose your memories and will renew as an entirely new person but for some reason, Allisa and Blaize can still remember the knowledge and experience they gain in their previous lives.

They can still vividly remember their knowledge in their 13 lives but the memory of their love once erased, only the knowledge was spared.

In a place that looks like a heavenly castle where the pillar stood tall and high. Intimidating beings with ethereal beauty gathered. This being was the Supreme and the higher Gods. They were at the large white marble table seemingly waiting for something.

"It's time" The Supreme Gods' voice resounded. Its voice was neutral, it sound like a man but at the same time a woman. He/She was wearing a white robe that cover its face. No one knew her/his gender, age, or face but one thing is for sure. He/She is a powerful being who controls and decides everything.

"Finally!"

"We will finally have someone worth observing!"

"But still... In their 13th life, they were so close to wrecking the worlds law"

"Hahaha, yeah, well let's see what they have to offer in their 14th life"

The other higher Gods commented as they talk about the reincarnation of Allisa and Blaize.

"Let's begin!" the Supreme's voice resounded.

In an empty space, light can finally be seen. It was just a faint light. That light seems to be calling to the two golden souls as the light pulls the two souls.

— Allisa POV —

Finally, after who knows how long, I see the familiar light that signifies my reincarnation in another world. I felt a strong pull in that light as if it's calling out to me. I can feel the light bath and warm my soul. The light engulfs my soul and the light shine so bright that I need to close my eyes.

Once I felt that the light no longer blind me. I slowly open my eyes and see an oak wood ceiling. I stay still and process my current situation, staring blankly at space. I found myself lying on the white single bed mattress. I try to move my limbs and look at my hand. It wasn't an adults hand nor a hand of a baby but a hand of a little girl.

'Well, this is weird. I usually find myself as a baby but this time, it looks like I was transmigrated into a body of a little gi—'

When I was assessing my situation, information rush through my brain. It wasn't a memory but basic information about this world.

It hurt a little like I was having a headache and at that time, I heard a low grunt at my right. When the headache subsided I sit down and look to the right. I saw a little boy sitting in the bed across from mine and clutching his head.

The little boy has dark blue hair that looks like a night sky and a small body. He kinda reminded me of Blaize.

When the little boy notice someone was staring at him. He turn around and met my gaze. I look at his clear blue eyes that reflect confusion and that confusion turns into a panic when he seemingly remembered something.

"Ohhhmyyyghaaadd, Allisa!"

'Me? Did he shout my name? What?'

"Uhm, B-blaize?" I mutter hesitantly, I'm not sure if I heard it right

"Little girl! Where is Allisa?! The girl with blond hair and blue eyes?!" Blaize jumps from the bed and asks me.

'Yep, that confirms it'

"I'm Allisa, Blaize. It seems like we transmigrated this time instead of reincarnation" I answered him. Only then do I notice that I have a childish and clear voice.

At that moment he seems to recall the events that had transpired. He also assesses his body and notices that he now has a childish voice instead of his deep and clear one.

Blaize is my best friend and family. We've been together for as long as I can remember. We died and were reborn together. It's like our soul our bound. Thus, He always gets frantic whenever something happens to me but aside from that he is a cool and calculative man.

"Haa, I see but still— why do we have to die when we are so close to finishing the pill of immortality?!"

"Now that you've mentioned it. It is frustrating!!"

I said remembering how close we are to finishing the Heavenly Pill of Immortality, only for it to end in tragedy. I buried my face in the pillow and shout my frustration out.

When I calm down, Blaize asks me about what are we going to do now. Unlike the usual, we aren't born as a baby this time. We don't have any relatives or family that we can rely on and we are still a child. Maybe that's why we are given the basic knowledge of this world.

"Hmm, for now, let's check that thing called status"

Blaize nodded in agreement. Blaize also has a similar situation as Allisa. He, too, was given the basic knowledge of this world.

"Status"

Allisa and Blaize said in unison
