The gruesome yet unexpected fight
5 minutes had gone by and Lucas was just slicing the coyates with his right hand while Ella tried to heal his left from afar. Some of her heals hit him and some didn't. Her aim wasn't very good.
John just kept hitting the enemies with the bow and wind-materialized arrows that had changed into icicles. Lucas didn't let a single one get at the back where the two were located and let them give their valuable support.
"Lucas!" A feminine voice came from inside the shelter's defenses, the voice was filled with panic.
"I might as well go all out." Luas looked at his weapon which didn't shine even a little now. It was covered with the red blood of the animals that kept on attacking even after getting injured.
Lucas first thought that they were mindless but he started to feel that these coyates were trying to survive as much as they were.
