"Pretty good try but why couldn't you hold it out?"
"I don't know, I felt a connection with it but then it just rejected me..." Sarah said with sadness.
Lucas's eyes shifted around and he could see that Sarah's face was pale while her fingers twitched showing the pressure that was placed on her during the summoning.
"Maybe it thought you were weak... I guess we won't know until you summon it a few more times."
"Well, that's the thing, I won't be able to summon the same thing again, it can be different too as the summoning feels pretty random."
"Hmm..."
Lucas thought for a few minutes and at the same time, Sarah only tried to get fresh again in order to do the summoning again.
'Am I forcing her?' Lucas asked himself with confusion.
Only a few days were left till they were going to the dungeon again so it was pretty considerate of Lucas to help Sarah in reaching a strength level where she won't need anyone else's help to survive.
