Firebird (1)

SHRRIEK!!!!

A loud noise came from the firebird, Lucas knew that it was a battle roar.

Both he and John were ready with the spears up high and grips tighter.

Before the firebird could come toward them to attack, Lucas went dashing to the left which caught the attention of the firebird as it flapped its wings making waves of heat go everywhere.

John did the same but he went straight so as to not give the bird any chance to go and attack Ella who was waiting in the corridor's exit.

The bird's attention went toward John which made it give yet another loud shriek. John had stopped at this point thinking that Ella was safe in the distance.

The bird flapped its wings and finally came speedy toward him. John hadn't taken it in accord thinking the bird will go for Lucas first. He ran to the left where Lucas was present so that there was a fighting chance.
