New Employee, Old Customers

The time continued passing

Tenshi got a few more customers and even had to order another batch of clay bottles.

He continued ordering cafetieres from Iguchi, who was working real hard to meet the requirements for the coffee machine.

Finally

3 years later

Iguchi finally finished all the parts. Tenshi inspected them and nodded in satisfaction, smiling gently as he said kindly, "I knew you could do it, Iguchi." Iguchi almost cried, it really didn't feel like it! Everytime he came by, he was ruthlessly abused!

For his hard work and because Tenshi knew that Iguchi was getting married soon, he paid him 40,000 Ryo!

Iguchi took the money and almost cried again! He had been making so much money from Tenshi, it was insane!

48 Cafetieres being sold at 1500 earned him 72,000 Ryo, now he got another 40,000…

You know, Kunai was a very cheap consumable product, he only got 4000 for every thousand! He was not rich at all, he even felt embarrassed for his fiancee, Tatsumaki. But now that he had all this money, he could give her a proper marriage!

He even made the ring himself!

What a guy!

Today was a sad day, however.

The two old ladies had both passed one after the other this year. Tatsumaki was completely destroyed. Tenshi sighed as he stood at the funeral, blessing them in his heart.

He walked to Tatsumaki, who was teary eyed, receiving condolences from all the customers.

Tenshi looked down at Tatsumaki and sighed sincerely, "I'm sorry for your loss, Tatsumaki. Mina and Yoruki would be very proud of you." Tatsumaki burst into tears, crying "B-Boss Tenshi… T-Thank you!" while sniffling and crying.

Tenshi hesitated and hugged her gently, feeling an intense urge to throw up. He separated quickly and smiled gently, "I'm sure they're watching from the Pure Land." Tatsumaki's lips quivered and she smiled softly, "Mhm!" everyone knew that Tenshi had an intense cleanliness problem, but he even comforted her with a hug, stomaching the nausea.

Tatsumaki wiped her eyes, Boss Tenshi was so kind!

Tenshi asked gently, "Do you have any pictures of them? I'd like to put them on the wall." Tatsumaki sniffed and nodded, "Mhm… I'll bring them tomorrow." Tenshi sighed and nodded before leaving after giving his condolences again.

He found a hidden place and teleported back home, quickly showering, scrubbing his entire body profusely, even his wings shivered under the water.

He quickly dried himself and changed, running back to the Cafe.

He left his new employee there while he went to the funeral, hopefully she wasn't struggling…

Tenshi got back to see a girl blushing and looking down shyly, twisting her foot on the spot as the customer tried to order. Tenshi sighed and walked behind the counter, putting on an apron as he smiled, "Same as usual, Kinoko?"

Kinoko let out a breath and nodded sweetly, "Yes, please, Tenshi-kun." Tenshi smiled gently and replied "No problem." the little girl next to him looked down sadly, saying "Sorry, Boss…"

Tenshi covered his hand with a napkin, rubbing her head as he smiled gently, "It's okay, Hinata-chan. You'll get it next time for sure." Hinata looked up and nodded, "Mhm!" Tenshi smiled, she was too cute!

Mainly, she was a good waitress. Bringing the coffee to customers who were sitting down, she hadn't dropped a single coffee yet! Plus, as long as she didn't have to talk to people, Hinata was very diligent.

Tenshi didn't really remember much from Naruto, but knew that she saved Naruto's life one time. There was a Hinata-chan Best Girl Edit he watched once…

Tenshi didn't know much more than that. But he came to find out that she was extremely shy, he thought it was an illness like his issues, so he gave her a job to try and help.

Hinata carried the Cappuccino with a little apron on, putting it on the table in front of Kinoko, bowing, "S-Sorry…" before running away, completely flustered. Kinoko laughed sweetly and sipped her coffee happily.

A cute waitress and a coffee, who wouldn't be happy?

Tenshi really did pay her, he was very generous too.

Every day she worked, she would get 2000 Ryo.

Hinata was a little rich overlord!

She had been working for 30 days.

She made 60,000 Ryo!

Iguchi would cry if he found out.

Of course, the System calculated everything, including business expenses and gave a grand total.

Currently, Tenshi had a total of 453,500 Ryo.

He figured out that comparing Ryo to Yen was actually insane. It was completely different, a million Ryo was a sizable sum, while in Yen it was only 100,000 Dollars.

He was very far away from his goal!

Tenshi was pretty sure that even if you pool all the money in the world, you wouldn't reach the number… that was 10 Trillion Dollars! The currency is automatically converted to dollar amount too!

There wasn't even that much money in the world in his previous life!

… Maybe he was exaggerating a bit… But still it was a lot!

Speaking of Achievements…

That night, Tenshi was laying in bed with his wings stretched out behind him comfortably, scrolling through the Achievements List. You could even sort them in all sorts of different ways… Who knows why you sort it by any other way than Completed First but anywho…

[Serve 1000 Customers- Completed]

[Earn 10,000 Dollars- Completed]

[Hire an Employee- Completed]

[Comfort a grieving woman- Completed]

[Serve at least one Customer from each Clan in Konoha- Completed]

Tenshi smiled happily, tapping his foot in the air with an arm behind his head, bending his knee and resting his other foot on it.

Who knows why [Comfort a grieving woman] was an Achievement, he looked at the follow up and coughed violently.

He rubbed his forehead and ignored this ridiculous achievement…

He turned to the other completed ones. The 1000 customers one sounded difficult… But there were actually around 25,000 people in Konoha!

1/25th of the population tasted his coffee, so that was a plus! It had been 10 years so… It was to be expected!

He clicked collect rewards, ignoring the increasingly concerning follow up Achievements to the Bed the Grieving Woman Achievement…

Tenshi sat up and his wings shivered as his eyes closed.

All his feathers exploded off, leaving only the spear hidden among them. They shot back into little ethereal wings that hovered off his back, flapping gently.

Tenshi felt weird, he didn't like this. He liked the feeling of having his wings on his back, not floating off like this. He took great pride in his wings!

The Ethereal wings exploded out and big white wings returned in all their glory!

Tenshi opened his eyes and smiled gently, in his irises there were little white speckles accompanying the red speckles, populating the universe in his eyes just a little bit more.

His wings vibrated and feathers shot out, stabbing into the walls before coming back as his wings folded neatly on his back.

He looked at his hands to see a little gray cat with a spring-like tail. It stretched its paws and yawned before looking up at Tenshi. The Glameow jumped in shock and stuck to the ceiling, did this guy have wings?! How strange!

Tenshi laughed softly and caught the Glameow, stroking its fur. He could tell this was a female Glameow! Tenshi wondered if she could learn Ninjutsu, that would be funny!

He looked at her and said "I'll call you… Mocha in the future." Mocha opened her eyes and meowed happily, snuggling into him.

Tenshi smiled gently and stroked her fur, scratching her little tummy as she purred happily. Tenshi had played Pokemon before… he would never evolve her…

Tenshi held Mocha in his arms and opened the window, smiling gently, "Let's try the upgrades, Mocha." Mocha meowed in confusion as Tenshi jumped from the window, flapping his wings as he soared into the sky.

Mocha was dumbfounded, staring at the ground in shock before meowing excitedly! Tenshi held Mocha as she raised her paws, meowing happily.

Tenshi laughed softly and disappeared across the sky, flapping his wings gently.
