Chapter 494: The race!

The massive sun god spat out a mouthful of lava, filled with black substances as it stepped back and forth, trying to regain its balance meanwhile the holes on Derik's body were already closing up as he watched Kaido struggle. Soon Kaido couldn't maintain his godly form again and his body slowly began to shrink alongside that of Derik until he was reduced to his original size and fell into Derik's hands.

Back in his human form, Derik's body was covered in blood and he looked slightly pale. Even without saying it, he was badly hurt by the six scorching suns. He took the hit so that he could finish Kaido off, a suicidal move.

"I should have known you are still as crazy as you use to be… For you to make such a suicidal move… Hehehe! It should be expected from a crazy bastard like you… No excuses, you won" Kaido laughed bitterly while he spoke.
