Legendary Devourer Class Awakener

DROPPED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! I tried to rewrite it, and wrote 5 chapters, but they were all terrible. I truly don't have the motivation to continue this even though it was starting to become popular. I'm sorry. ------------------------- Born into a poor family without even knowing his last name, Leon Devour enters the 'Crimson Earth' nation's program to gather strong awakeners as it was his only chance of achieving something in his life. During their graduation day, the students of school "973" are taken to the gymnasium, where they meet the 'elites' that are going to inject them with the 'Class Syringes' to awaken their unique talents. Each person's talent/class is different from the other, yet there is only a 50% chance of awakening it, those who don't are deemed as failures and are forced to work in the mines if they are as poor as Leon. The 'Crimson Nation' only wanted the most powerful of awakeners to fight against the horde of humans and monsters, as well as to conquer dimensions and get resources. So they gathered thousands of students all across their program, only allowing the strongest to compete for a chance of joining the academy. Weakness is failure, death is failure. But for Leon... [You have awakened the talent 'Devourer'!] [You can now devour stat points, talents, skill, everything!] "What the..." ------------------------- It's even better than my other novel by the way, which is pretty popular. First Skill Upgrades and Dragon Claw

Ding!

Leon was excited about the final reward, and so the panel appeared before him.

[The E-Level skill 'Fire Breath' has been upgraded to B-Level Skill 'Dragon Flames'!]

Much like with talents and many other things, skills could also be classified among several categories: F, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, SSS.

There was no W ranking this time, ending at SSS, which was still pretty damn powerful.

Most skills, even legendary ones, usually end up being at A or S-level at the start, but as you keep upgrading them using skill points, then there is a chance for them to level up.

Skill points can be used to upgrade a skill's level, but note that skill level does NOT refer to its type.

For example, a level 2 'Fire Breath' doesn't mean that it would change from its E ranking to something better.

The only way to make a skill rank up is to: either buy an item for that, though it cost a fortune.

Or… to complete an advancement quest.
