"BITE THEM, EGO!" Leon ordered as he pointed at the shadow beasts.
To begin with, EGO could bite monsters and weaken their powers.
It was something Leon had been too focused on surviving to remember, but now, it was his best option.
And with the Chainsaw Teeth upgrade, EGO's bite was stronger than ever.
Leon grinned through his exhaustion, his heart pounding with anticipation, "Time to put those teeth to use!"
EGO ignited in a blaze of crimson flames, its small ball of fire form hovering beside Leon, the top of its candle-head still blue.
The flames burned with intensity, but as EGO prepared for action, the fire shifted, darkening and becoming more powerful.
[You got it, partner! Time to feast!]
With a gleeful growl, EGO shot toward the Abyssal Devourer as his speed matched Leon's, his chainsaw teeth whirring faster and faster.
