CHAPTER FIVE – INTO THE NEW WORLD
The silver-haired man chuckled when he hears those words from the raven-haired man's lips, and it lighten up his mood a little bit.
Since the raven-haired man initiated to ask then, the silver-haired man concludes that Dark Phoenix had accepted his offer.
Dark Phoenix, on the other hand, asks that question to the silver-haired man after he finalizes his thoughts about the offer.
He might be an assassin and a cold heartless killer that everyone feared in his previous life, but he knows how to repay back a debt.
Since the silver-haired man had helped him, then he would do the same thing for him.
He might not want this second chance, but it wouldn't hurt to try once to live his life for the second time.
While Dark Phoenix's thought about what life he would encounter on his second chance at life, the silver-haired man sighed in relief because he knows that this person is his last hope.
'He's the one that I am looking for. He can fulfill this and for sure, the fate of the world will change because of him.'
As he was about to state his last wish when—
*GASP! *
The silver-haired man clutches his own chest and breathes heavily as if someone is piercing through his heart.
'I didn't expect that my time is running out! I don't have a choice but to force it on him!'
Dark Phoenix waited for the silver-haired man to say his last wish when he noticed something that is quite odd.
The silver-haired man's face had gone pale while clutching his own chest and pants heavily as if he is suffocated.
He frowns for a bit but when to the silver-haired man's side to check his condition.
"H-hey! What happen to you?! You're just f*ckng alright for f*cking sake!"
'Just what the heck happened?! His face almost looks like a plain sheet of paper because of its paleness!'
Dark Phoenix didn't expect that he would come across a problem that he couldn't solve himself and this would be the first time that happens to him.
Now that he's dead and he had to experience this kind of situation.
'Just how unlucky am I?!'
He might be an assassin and a cold-blooded killer, but Dark Phoenix owed this silver-haired man his life and he won't sit by without doing anything to help.
"I…I don't have much time. Sooner or later, the last remaining of my soul will perish on this world….and…. you…I…"
The silver-haired man mumbled under his breath but stumbled to the ground as he felt his body couldn't take it anymore.
As he stumbled, Dark Phoenix also follows since he is holding the silver-haired man in his arms.
'H-his soul won't last long?!'
"W-wait a minute! You haven't told me about your last wish?! Why the hell is this happening right now!"
He exclaims as he felt that the silver-haired man's body became weightless and that he noticed that his body started to vanish slowly right in front of his eyes.
"I…I guess…my time is running out…"
Dark Phoenix didn't understand what was happening right now.
He accepted his fate that he was already dead and now that he met this silver-haired man out of nowhere and saved his life before his soul dissipates from his original body.
They were within this vast darkness that the silver-haired man contains his soul from taking away from his original body and this person makes an offer to him.
To live a second chance in life with his previous life's memories intact.
And right now, the same man is right in from of him as he holds him, and the silver-haired man said something to him that he won't last long for some unknown reason.
Dark Phoenix is in a predicament situation.
While the raven-haired man is lost in his own thoughts, the silver-haired man manages to look up even though he could feel his own strength is giving up.
But he must say something before it's too late.
"You… you can change everything. Finally…. I…. I can perish in this world without regrets. Sorry to drag you into this. I'll leave some of my memories to you as your guide"
Dark Phoenix; "W-what---"
"You…. you will be taking over…. the body of the younger me…. in my world. Sorry, my time is up"
As soon as the silver-haired man said those words, his body collapsed all of the sudden and the light ray dispersed within the silver-haired man's body.
Dark Phoenix's eyesight became blurry in an instant because of the brightness that the silver-haired man emitted.

Soon afterward, the brightness slowly fades away as he adjusts his eyesight and his surroundings.
He is no longer within the vast darkness where he woke up and soon afterward, countless different voices can be heard in the background.
'What are these voices? Where am I?'
As he was about to blink to adjust his eyesight, he felt a sharp object that would throw in his direction, and using his high senses, he manages to catch the object without looking.
He heard countless gasps within his surroundings that he isn't sure what was going on because his eyesight is still blurred.
As he blinks a couple of times and opened his eyes wide, the first thing he noticed is the object in his tiny hands.
'Tiny hands?! What the hell?!'
Not just that, he saw his reflection on the sharp dagger, and Dark Phoenix was shocked to see the familiar features that he is looking into.
'What the f*ck?! What kind of joke is this?!'
Silver shiny hair and crystal blue eyes…
'Wait for a second! Isn't this that man's appearance?!
« …. You…. you will be taking over…. the body of the younger me…. in my world … »
Dark Phoenix suddenly remembered what the silver-haired man told him before his soul vanishes in the air that time.
'So, I am now occupying his younger body? Seriously?'
However, that should not be his concern right now.
'I just arrived in this world and the first thing that welcomed me is someone who wants to assassinate me! Just what the f*cking hell?!'
He looked around and saw other people surrounding him, and Dark Phoenix just noticed the outfits of the other people.
'Similar to that silver-haired man but that guy's outfit looks like he is in the highest authority.'
He set aside those trivial matters as he observes the people around him.
Even though these people tried to hide it, Dark Phoenix is a legendary golden assassin, and he could tell that these people are looking down on him.
Not him totally but it looks like they were looking down on the original owner's body that Dark Phoenix has been occupying right now.
Shock, disgust, taunted and other negative emotions that are swirling within their eyes as they looked at him that they didn't bother to hide it.
'Is the silver-haired man have the worst reputation for him to receive this kind of treatment? These people didn't bother to hide their disgust to the original owner, more like me right now.'
