Chapter 14.

Finishing the training, I sat down and relaxed my muscles while I accounted for all the changes the First Spirit Star has brought me, which I did and got a result that, this spirit star has caused me a feeling of fish crossing through the dragon gate, and there is still the changes I need to check the Qi Gathering Technique 2nd part has brought to me.

So I got up and headed back, reaching the orphanage I entered and saw no one since Matron and the Head responsible for managing the orphanage (the man in chapter 1) are taking care of the other children's in the courtyard at the back of the orphanage.

Not disturbing them I took the food that was already made, just waiting for everyone to come, but since I was hungry, so I didn't wait and got myself some food and ate it finishing I returned to my bedding and sat down taking a small nap.

When I woke it was already late in the night with the moon high above us and stars shining beside it, everyone was sound asleep, looks like Matron didn't wake me earlier. Seeing that there is no one to disturb me and it is the perfect time to practice with the Moon high so I sat crossed leg and started running the qi gathering technique. At first, it was the same as before but as time passed it started to moisturize the meridians that were dried because of the excess suction at the time of Spirit awakening, but this was not the upgrade this Spirit star brought to me, the upgrade was the point that the technique has opened a channel to strengthen my internal organs by steadily supplying the spirit power to them at a slow pace.

Look's like when I complete this part of the Qi Gathering technique my organs should be very hard to break, their defensive power will reach a whole new level, meaning that my life-saving ability will be greater.

Thinking of this, I haven't specified the levels of the techniques from the mysterious book. Let me do it now.

1. It's the Qi Gathering Technique which is a yang attribute Qi gathering technique which sucks the energy from your surroundings whether it is day or night, it doesn't matter as long as the energy of different attribute since technique will turn them into yang, but it would be faster to practice in an area with Yang attribute.

This technique is divided into 3 big realms and 9 small realms, that is:

Organ Strengthening which corresponds to the 1-3 parts of this technique.

Muscle-strengthening that corresponds to 4-6 parts of this technique.

Skeleton Strengthening corresponds to the last three parts that are 7-9 parts of this technique.

Each small part leads to some small changes, and to reach the next part you need to get a spirit star to breakthrough.

2. Demon eye technique. This is a spiritual technique that makes your eyes to look through everything, it also helps your Mental strength to grow with it. This technique can only be trained in the morning at the time of sunrise by using the purple gas the sun leaks at that time.

It has 4 levels.

Make the surroundings look more detailed, you can look at things at a slower speed.

See-through stones and other material things.

See-through all the illusions, no illusion can trap you even from a God.

Last see-through other peoples and living organisms thoughts.

There is also a mythological level that lets you see the future, but there is no one who has reached that level and there is no corresponding knowledge on how to practice to that level.

3. Mighty Dragon's Walk this is a movement technique with only 3 parts in it but to cultivate this technique you first need to learn.

Purple Snake Slithering technique, which trains you to be flexible and silent like an assassin. It has 3 parts of itself that you need to perfect before advancing to the next technique.

Next is Soaring Flood Dragon which also has 3 parts only by completing this technique can you actually start practicing the Mighty Dragon's Walk.

4. Dragon's Tail technique is a Stick technique with 5 levels, strictly speaking, it is not only a stick technique but a weapons technique we could use with every weapon but as using Stick will give better results so I used to stick to learn, I can also use other weapons if necessary and that too with high proficiency, which contains every profound mysteries of how Dragons use their tail as a weapon and teach you to do so with a stick, while you follow this practice you will definitely learn and understand the mystery and use weapons Qi, you can even reach Weapon Intent if you reach a very high understanding of this technique.

After finishing my practice I once again got back to sleep since I need to wake up early and practice the Demon eye technique. So I slept soundly.

Next day, waking up early I quickly took a bath and rushed rowards my usual spot and started training the Demaon eye technique. I practiced till sun rose to horizon filling the world with light, I slowly stopped practicing and took a look at the changes but only felt nothing, ther was no upgrade, no next level, no anything. So I knew that there will be no upgrades in my mental strength when I get the new spirit star, I will have to practice this technique all the way based on my pwn understanding. Oh how tiring, anyway lets think about it when I really reach a bottleneck.

Throwing my thoughts I patted my clothes to remove the dust and moved back to the Orphanage.

Reaching their the matron was the first to see me, she just simply asked about how was my first journey.

I replied by saying.

" Joyful and with plenty of gains."

Hearing this she wanted to know all the details but thinking that many other childrens and the head also wants to know about my journey, she waited patiently for everyone to gather.

After a few minutes everyone gathered at the table, seeing me everyone wanted to ask the questions but the head raised his hand and signaled everyone to be quiet. Everyone stopped their clamoring and sat on their chairs.

On the other hand the Head himself looked at me curiously and asked

"How was your trip"

I gave the same reply as I did to the matron.

" Brother Feng have you met the spirit beast, were they scary as everyone says?"

A kid asked from the side

" They are really very scary thankfully there was Village chief around me, so I wasn't that terified so you guys better not run outside the village."

I said this because If I replied with saying that beasts were not scary then these guys will move boldly and rush outside the village, then if they really encounter a beast won't they just send meat to beast and didn't I just go straight to die. So I gave such an answer.

Hearing my answer bith the Matron and Head nodded with a sigh of relief, as they were that I would tell the opposite to these little troublemakers.

After this Matron asked about my spirit ability. To which I just simply told them about the fir3 slash and hid the increase of attributes since It was better for them to know as little as they should. As for the reason there is no reason to this, just my feeling that it is better for them to not know.

They all nodded and congratulated me, then Head asked if I fought with a beast or not. This time I didn't hid anything and boasted about my fight with the group of black-eyed dogs in a glorified manner.

They continued to ask me some questions and I patiently replied to all of them. After this Q & A session everyone started to eat their breakfast in a joyous mood. After finishing the breakfast as always I helped the matron first and moved out to practice.

Like this a week passed by and the day for me to depart came, I was also the start of my journey to write my legend in this world of Spirit, writing a tale such that the coming generations would tell their childrens about my myths everyday.
