Chapter 44: Alternate Reality!

After the meal, it was time to pay the waiter. The waiter stretched her hand forward and said "Pay up.."

"How much do we owe?" Azrael asked.

"200..." The waiter said.

"200$...?" Azrael asked in shock.

"200 Chadwas..." The waiter replied.

"Chadwas??? What is Chadwas???" Azrael was confused, but he quickly bit his tongue remembering the incident with the police. If word got out that they truly were not from here than it would be difficult to rely just on wits and charm.

Azrael moved closer to Alex and whispered. "It seems they spend Chadwas here instead of Dollars and we don't even know if Chadwas is higher in value or lower in value as compared to Dollars, for all we know, we might be in an alternate reality. "

"The customs here are strange, the people are weird, they even spend money with a weird name. I don't even know what a Chadwas currency note looks like..." Azrael concluded his whispering and turned to focus on the waiter.

"I have a problem with my bank account, it won't give the amount I need, when it goes through, I will come back and pay the 200 chadwas, but for now, I will give you my name and number..." Azrael tried to reason with the waiter while preparing to leave.

The waiter suddenly stretched her finger at Azrael as a sudden realization hit her.

"Miss Chirokee was right, you are both illegal immigrants, I will call the Po..." before the waiter could complete her sentence, Azrael pulled the right hand of Alex and dashed out of the eatery.

The reality they were in was different from the real world. Bianca Zul used all of her powers to create a pocket space dimension that was different from the former world where Alpha Lucky was hunting for them.

The only way that Azrael and Alex could leave this pocket space dimension is if they could conquer it.

This pocket space dimension is ruled by a man named Chadwas Bayrus.

Chadwas Bayrus is a crazy dictator who did as he pleased.

He took as he wanted and killed as it pleased him. His dominance was so profound that he even named the currency after himself.

Azrael and Alex weren't aware of this reality. All that they know is that they were in trouble.

Azrael and Alex ran out of the eatery and across the street.

The waiter went to inform the patrol police about the identity of Azrael and Alex.

The Lobster woman, whose name was Miss Chirokee also tagged along.

She has been initially labeled as a liar who was obsessed with a grudge,  but now, things seem to be swinging in her favor as the truth has been revealed and the waiter also shares in her view of these two being illegal immigrants.

Soon, the police were called and about 30 officers were tasked with locating and apprehending Azrael and Alex.

Bianca Zul has already thought it through that this world would be a good form of training for her nephew Azrael and if he could conquer this world, then he might most likely develop all the skills necessary to face the dangers of the real world, but if he is killed here, he would still reappear in the real world but that would mean he still has a lot to learn, but Azrael wasn't aware of all of this.

Azrael was holding Alex and running through the busy street. He dashed past a couple of shops while occasionally glancing back to be sure no one was following.

Alex was also forcing herself to her peak, running as fast as she could to keep pace with Azrael. Her heart was beating crazily, her lungs were pulling in an enormous amount of air like it would explode and pushing it out with so much force.

The pair suddenly stopped to catch their breath. Azrael was relatively fine, he looked relaxed as if he just took a stroll, whereas Alex was panting continuously.

She couldn't breathe properly. She was wheezing as her lungs tried to stabilize the amount of air being pushed in and out simultaneously.

The pair stood beside an empty stall made of wood. It was found open and completely empty, devoid of any trader or goods.

They both entered the stall and found a single wooden stool in the center of the small room.

Azrael and Alex entered and the same time.

"Have your seat... my darling..." Azrael said that last part while glancing away in shyness.

Alex almost choked on laughter as she looked at him.

"Azrael, you've gotten so bold, you do know I'm still your teacher...?" Alex said as she sat on the stool.

Azrael smiled while trying to fight his shyness... "You're my lover, my soul mate, and my one and only... How could fear stop me from expressing my feelings.." Azrael responded with more boldness and he moved closer to her.

Alex was stunned at how courageous Azrael was. "You're truly thick-skinned, or maybe just extremely shameless...heheheh," Alex said as she got up and walked closer to Azrael.

"I can't deny the feelings I also have for you... All of these still seems weird to me, Azrael Herrington, I accept you as my lover..." Alex said with a smile and put her hands around his neck.

Azrael got uncomfortable almost immediately, he was the one always pushing the boundaries, but now that Alex did what he had been doing, it got him flustered.

His chest felt like it was going to explode.

His heart was racing fast.

This was what he had always wanted and now that he got it, it felt strangely terrifying and yet wonderful.

He looked into the eyes of Alex and he got tongue-tied. Alex was exceptionally beautiful.

Her eyes, her smile, the way her hair blew slightly in the wind.

He saw just how big of a fish she was. He didn't even know the extent of her beauty until this moment in time when he so closely observed her features.

'Such a beauty.... is mine...?' Azrael thought as he kept staring at her.

"Is there something on my face...?" Alex Bayly asked as she noticed his intense stare.

"You're indeed beautiful..." Azrael let out before he could hold back his tongue, just as he was admiring his soul mate, and Alex was also blushing, a policeman holding a pointed gun and staring at the pair slowly walked into the stall.

"Don't move..." He shouted
