453 She Did Something Unexpected

The summer sun shone brightly making the water look a nice hue of blue while the sky was a beautiful blue with no clouds. Even the wind that blew was hot and burning.

Xing saw the Water Emperor standing by the water letting his feet getting kissed by the waves reaching the shores and walked towards him.

Xing felt the heat seeping through her shoes to her feet. Her face and her little exposed skin in her hands started to burn by the harsh sun. Xing herself was surprised by how delicate she had turned to. She was literally wandering around a desert a couple of years back with no issues.

'Damn! I stayed inside for too long', Xing cussed herself.

' What next? My hands will get too soft and smooth like feather? This cannot be allowed to continue. I will not turn to some rich Lady!'

With a sigh, she looked up. A bright red parasol came to her view hiding the sun above her head and she turned with a smile.
