"Well, If my disciple performed well it would bring great honour to our academy, but what about this poor cripple me " Hemdall asked while making a pitiful face.

But rather than feeling pity, Kramer felt a sudden urge of knocking all his teeth out, but he somehow managed to control it inside him.

"Haah!, I knew it, how could a self-conceited brat like you , would be willing to teach others, if it doesn't benefit you "

"Ah come on master, Do you teach in the Academy for free ?, I bet you charge a fortune, enough to feed an entire city for years " Hemdall refuted.

"Haah!,Fine what do you want exactly" Kramer asked.

"If my memory serves me right, I received an offer to be an instructor at the academy about a decade ago " Hemdall continued " I'd like to accept that offer now."

"And I'd also like a the academy to treat my injuries which I succummed year's ago."

Kramer gave a deep look Hemdall, before replying.

"You're asking for too much, even before bringing anything to the table "

"I can offer you the role of an instructor, but as for you're injuries which are already more than a decade old, we would have need either a high ranking priest from the holy knights order of Leonhart Empire, or the Alchemist Association from Maltor Empire."

"If you had came to us when you were injured we might have have been able to do something for you "

"I see, well I kind of expected it, but it's still a bit disappointing hearing from you" Hemdall said without giving much of an expression.

"well forget it, for now being an instructor is good enough" Hemdall said with a sorrowful look on his face.

"Only If your disciple managed to Rank among top 100 in the next tournament " Kramer quickly interrupted.

"Can't you read the mood old man ?" Hemdall growled.

"Fine then I'll take my leave them "

"Aren't you gonna watch the tournament ?" Kramer quickly inquired.

"It would indeed be quite a waste to come all the here and not watch the tournament." Hemdall said after a deep contemplation.

Next day in the Morning, The Azaroth Sword Tournament began.

It took place in a huge circular dome, with more than hundreds of thousands of spectators, from all over the continent gathered to watch the tournament.

There were a huge magic screen projected above, which displayed every proceeding taken place in the Arena. It even had special compartments exclusive for rich merchants, nobles and royalties.

The prices of these tickets were astronomical, as the most general one that hemdall and Samuel took cost them over 10,000 Gold coins per person. It was not something an average family could afford.

The tournament began with the host as well as the ruler of the Sparta Kingdom , where the current Tournament is taking place, giving a long speech about the history of these tournament and unsheating a sword signalling the beginning of the tournament.

Before these, they performed a roulette lottery to decide the location of the next year's tournament, Samuel gave a special attention to it, as it's supposed to be the one in which Samuel's supposed to take part in.

Surprisingly the place the roulette stopped, was the place Samuel was already planning to visit, and this plan was even more fortified after visiting Kramer.

One of the only two places which may be capable of curing Hemdall's injury.

' Leonhart Empire '

Then they began to explain to rules of the competition which was quite simple.

It was divided into two rounds. In the first round all the participants will enter inside an alternate world created with by a 'Saint Rank' Artifact.

It's filled with monsters ranked from the weakest '1 Star' to strongest ' 9 Star' Monsters. While each monster has a certain sets of pointing varying according to their strength.

In the end only the top 256 among those hundreds of thousands of contestants, would manage to proceed further.

The second round is nothing but a basic sparring competition among them.

"Ohh! It's about to began " Samuel exclaimed.

As he saw hundreds of thousands of people teleporting inside the door into the artificial world generated with the help of the artifacts.

These was one of the most messy scenario Samuel has ever witnessed as he saw lots of random people fighting random monsters through the magic screen.

Even though he tried his best to find Bane, he couldn't find him this continued for about 4 hours, until the duration of the first round ended.

And the result was displayed in a huge magic screen in front of everyone.

It started with displaying the lowest possible rank one could possibly get, but could also be considered a greatest honour to successfully complete the first round.
