17 . First Bounty Mission

"Ah that remind's me the Academy is holding a competition for people around the age of 16 to 21" Alex added to the conversation.

Hearing that Hemdall's ears percked up as he exclaimed.

"Isn't that the age requirements for 'Azaroth Sword Tournament' , Is the academy that desperate ?"

Alex sighed as he replied " The best student of the Academy at that age group is a ' Eight Star Knight ' and he is already 21 year's old, as for the other's, there Isn't even a single ' Seven star Knight ' at that age group."

"Eight Star at the age of 21 is not bad at all,but if they are planning on participating on a competition where greatest geniuses from all over the continent gather, then I am afraid it's not nearly enough"

Alex noded acknowledging his statement and said.

"that's why Academy is holding this tournament to recruit any talent if possible"

Hearing this Samuel could only shake his head as he thought 'One of the Major Academies of the North is in shambles just because of one person'.

If the Count wasn't such a greedy pig, who constantly abused his power, while rejecting who knows how many talented and deserving kids, they would have been in such a dire situation.

While noticing his disciple's reaction, Hemdall added.

"Is there something you want to say ?"

Samuel gave a deep thought before replying to his Master.

"I just think it his pointless."

Hemdall gave a deep look towards samuel while giving a nod ,telling him to continue.

"If someone who has reached such a great heights at that age, why would he take part in a mere tournament held by an academy?"

"they would gain practically nothing joining them, he would rather enter the tournament as an unaffiliated swordsman and earn a name, So from my point of view what they are doing is completely pointless."

Alex gave a deep thought before asking Samuel

"Then what do you think the Academy should do ?, Give up on the tournament ?, they would become a laughing stock in front of the entire Continent."

Samuel smiled wryly as he replied

"The damage has been already done , they should rather think about the future to prevent this sorts of event's from ever happening again, and as far as the tournament goes rather than looking outside they should try to cultivate the one they already have, "

Listening to Samuel's explanation Hemdall added

"That kid who became an 'Eight Star Knight' , focus on him for now, there is still a couple of month's before tournament, anything can happen"

"Ahh!! forget it, all these things is for the academy's to think about, why are we wasting our precious time. " Hemdall growled.

"You , start heading out for a few months, you can't remain unaware about how the world works" Hemdall said while pointing at Samuel.

"Yes Master, I have been thinking about starting my hunter's Missions for a while now "

He knew he lacked practical knowledge about the world around him by quite a bit and he can only gain it by experiencing it himself.

"I see, Come back in about around two months, there is a place we have to go."

"Yes Master" Samuel replied while taking is leave , as for the matter of going to somewhere in about two months, Samuel didn't even bother asking about it , Cause he knew his master had no intention of telling him about it.

Samuel activated his hunter's Badge and the screen appeared in front of him.
