"What did you Just say ?" Hemdall asked as he thought he might have heard it wrong.

"I am sorry but I don't like the idea of being a tool for someone else's revenge" Samuel replied with a firm determined look on his face.

Looking at this young man making a face which didn't suit his age Hemdall couldn't help but let a loud laugh

"Ha! ha! ha! ha!, You moron why the hell would I need a brat like you get my revenge"

"Huh?, then why do you need me for ? "

" ~sigh~ did you already forgot my other identity"

" A Cripple who can't wield a sword " Samuel replied.

~Smack~ Smack~Smack

There was a loud noise resonating in that run down place for a while , and what was left after the voice died down was, a young man kneeling on the floor with a bruised face and a middle aged man wiping his hand's with his handkerchief.

"You Brat even if I can't use aura anymore I used to be a 'Nine star Knight', and now I am your teacher, you should be careful with you words"

Hemdall scowled.

" Yes master " Samuel replied with a dead voice while suppressing his inner most thoughts.

"I am a graduate from Vulcunus Sword Academy"

" When I became a cripple, what I regretted the most was rejecting the offer of being the instructor in the academy. "

"It was a place which gave me a lot but I never got the chance to pay it back, rather I was only obsessed with proving myself to the kingdom which never cared about me."

"So I want you to enter the tournament as a disciple of Vulcanus Sword Academy under my turtulege and if you managed to perform exceptionally it will benefit both the Academy and me "

A sudden enlightenment flashed inside Samuel's mind as he exclaimed.

"Ahh!, You want to enter the Vulcanus Sword Academy through me."

Hemdall gave a firm nod while replying

"It would prove that I could be an instructor even if I am a cripple "

"And once I get the Academy as my backing , I might be able to treat my injuries through the connections of the Academy and return to my former self , and once that happens I will give that scoundrel count a visit "

"So it has nothing to do with paying back to the academy, you just want to butter them up " Samuel replied with a mocking look on his face.

"Hmph!, I have already paid enough of a price after looking out for other's , now I have to think about my own self interest "

Samuel gave a deep thought ,then gave a nod

"Then please accept me as your disciple "

"Very Well , take a rest for now, and get ready here at 5 am in the Morning. "

"Yes Master" Samuel replied while taking his leave.

Samuel layed in his bed while contemplating about the whole incident that occurred today.

If he was honest he was tempted to be Hemdall's disciple when he was able recognise his talent right after he performed his swordsmanship. Everyone else who has seen Samuel's swordsmanship would mistaken him for a genius including his father's comrades who are veteran knights, but Hemdall managed to see right through him which proved how extensive his knowledge in swordsmanship is, and after listening to Hemdall's story it increased even more but he refused to be someone's tool for revenge but after listening to his new teacher's explanation he gradually agreed.

"Ahh! You're here , are you ready for your first training session"

"Yes Master" Samuel replied enthusiastically.

"Let's begin with the training that you lack the most shall we, Follow me "

Samuel followed Hemdall until they entered an isolated land and in front of him he saw a lot of complex wooden man made machine's, there a silence for about a minute before Samuel exclaimed

"Master, What exactly is this ?

Hemdall grinned while noticing Samuel's confused face as he replied

"You see I have been preparing for this the last 9 years, and even I didn't know I was capable of creating something like , this is something which would help you train "

"Enter that circle in the middle "

Samuel followed as he was instructed by hemdall. And hemdall pulled a huge lever attached one of the machines.

A huge wooden block flew right towards Samuel which he easily doughed it by stepping back a bit.

'Isn't this a bit too easy ' Just as Samuel thought around this, 10 wooden blocks flew towards simultaneously , while being surprised he tried his best to avoid all the blocks but after a minute he was hit right in his abdomen and flew right outside the circle.

Looking at his disciple's pathetic state Hemdall scoffed and said

"Huh ! It's worse than I thought, you can't even handle First level of this machine and there Nine more to go "

" I placed a bed in here , I will bring you food thrice a day, But forget about leaving this place until you completely mastered the first level, Do you understand?"

"Continue with your training I will come watch your progress from time to time."

"Yes Master"

After ending their conversation Hemdall left , and Samuel also took his first step towards his long arduous training journey with his Master.
