Chapter 7: Gaelbrande

[I'm aware that the world name is Gaeabrande but for writing sake I'll just call it Gaelbrande. Sounds better doesnt it]

[POV Seiya]

Sweet. I got a primordial beast as a companion. Today's a day to celebrate but before that, '' Hey Kurama, can I call you that? What abilities do you have?''

''Hmm I have some new memories of what new abilities I have now,'' he said closing his eyes searching deep into his mind for information. That's what it looked like to me, don't know if that's what he is actually doing.

''It says I can manipuate my chakra to change my size and the bigger I am the more powerful I get, I can compress my chakra energy into a violent beam or a ball of destruction, depends how much chakra I put into it.

Each of my tails can launch condensed beams of chakra or I can manipulate the chakra in my tail to make them as sharp as swords and use them in a fight. I am nigh-immortal meaning I can't die as long as I have even a wisp of my chakra in me.

I can posses anyone and use them as a catalyst for my powers and be able to fight like any other huamans but the person dies when I leave his body.''

''WOW that's actaully pretty useful especially the last one, can you posses me and what happenes if you do.'' I asked. Generally curious if he can even posses me.

''No I can't. But I can merge with you as one entity and be able to use both yours and my abilities. Also our power levels would double.'' he said with a smile on his face. That's sweet so basically I'll be a jinchuriki.

''Compared to your previous self how powerful are you when you are that size.''

Kurama looked at his small body, the size of a dog, and smiled, ''I can use about 70% of my original power as of current and when I'm back to my huge self I'll be 200 times stronger.'' Did this place change his strength, maybe' but that ain't a bad thing. Will prove useful in the coming fights.

-Knock Knock-

There was a knock on the huge golden door behind me and an excited goddess rushed in. 'What's up with her,' I thought.

''Seiya-kun, are you done with what you wanted to do? Ah and what's that cute little thing behind you,'' she said pointing at the fuming Kurama. Tick marks could be seen on his forehead. Guess he doesn't like being called cute. Heh, found a way to annoy the little foxy.

''Who is this annoying woman Seiya? Can I blast her with a beast bomb?'' asked Kurama readying himself to launch the bomb.

''Hahaha! No no Kurama you can't do that, maybe later. This is Ristarte a goddess here, similar to what Kaguya is to the people of your world. Rista this little one is Kurama a nine tailed fox I summoned here.'' I explained while rubbing the fox's head.

''So Cute!! Come give your lovely goddess a cuddle,'' she said while trying to grab Kurama but repeatedly failed. He was just too nimble for the bimbo goddess. ''Seiya help me,'' with a pout Rista hugged my arm and stared at me with puppy eyes.

-Chuckle-'' Try to be friendly Kurama, she will be with you for probably the rest of your life.'' I scolded the fox. ''Do I have to?'' he replied. I just stared at him....

''Fine,'' with that he went into Rista's embrace. ''Wow he's so soft, and cute!'' said Rista suffocating Kurama in her bosom. Tch, lucky fox.

I helped you, where's my reward. I could see Kurama forming a smile in Rista's embrace but it looked like a smirk to me.

Just you wait you little fox, I have some things installed for you later. ''What's with that look Seiya-kun?'' asked Rista, Kurama still buried in her bosom. ''Never mind that,'' I replied.

''So what did you come here for Rista?''

''I wanted to tell you that we are late,'' late? How can I be late. The prevoious Seiya took a week before going to Gaelbrande.

''How long was I in here for?'' I asked, ''I couldn't be in here for a week, could I?''

''It's been 4 days actually, and the world is starting to look real messy. The Demon lord's army is growing by the day.'' she said with worry on her face. Hmm I don't think I need the training as the my other counter part did.

''Let's go then, Kurama you coming with me?''

''Sure. I'm interested in what this Gaelbrande is all about.''

''Oh you are going to hate it, nothing interesting over there. No beautiful waifus at all.'' Yes what a true disappointment.

''How would you know that, you haven't been to Gaelbrande yet.'' stated Rista with question written marks all over her face

''Don't question a god's knowledge, I know things that you don't know. Like, you find me super attractive.'' I said with a cheeky grin. Now I get why in the anime Seiya loved to mess with her, it was fun watching the goddess pout.

''Fine keep your secrets, let's go Kurama. You are the only friend I have here.'' she said opening a portal and jumping into it. It must lead to Gaelbrande.

''Hey wait! I'm sorry for teasing you.'' I jumped into the portal and felt my whole world turn upside down.

-OOF- -Thud-

With a thud I landed on a small hillside face up my back to the ground. Apparently the feeling of being upside down wasn't the portals fault, it was me failing to land correctly and falling back. Well it was still the portal's fault to be honest.

''Nice landing,'' Kurama's face appeared in my line of view with an amused smirk on his face. ''It wasn't my fault. It's that bimbo goddess' fault for making a crapy portal. I can't even land right.'' I quickly replied.

I got up and dusted my clothes. Looking around I could see a small village in the distance, a forest with mystical blue trees, a lake and some griffins flying in the air. Where the fuck am I. This isn't the Gaelbrande I remember. The village yes but not the weird looking forest over there.

''Beautiful isn't it. it's a shame the Demon lord would destroy this.'' said Rista from behind me staring in the distance. ''Where did you send us Rista? We were supposed to land in the village and what's that forest over there?'' I questioned the goddess.

''What do you mean, this is Gaelbrande I can't be wrong about that.'' So this is a different type of world than the original. The multiverse sure is a weird place.

''Let's head to the village to get you some armour. Can't have you dyeing before killing the Demon lord,'' said Rista. She began pulling my hand in the dirrection of the village.

What's with her and dragging me to places. Are my hands that nice to hold? ''Kurama let's go, sit on my shoulder.'' I beckoned for fox. Instead of sitting on my shoulder like I asked him to he decided to sit on my head instead.

''What, I like being at a higher level than everyone else. You expect me to be at the same level as these humans?'' said the cheeky fox. -Sigh- I just let him do what he wanted. I can't even get mad. As long as my chibby fox was happy I'll be happy.

A griffin flew right over our heads leaving behind a feather that floated directly into my open hand. Coincidence? I think not. I used my appraisal skill on the feather and what I found was pretty interesting. As a demi-god I came with a natural skill to appraise objects.

[Feather of Fortune]

-An elder griffin, seemingly the last of his kind, has bestowed you with one of their wings. With this feather you will be able to freely enter the forest of lights. Griffins only hand out feathers to humans they trust and receiving one from an elder griffin means you have the trust of the whole clan.

Only a few minutes into this world and I have already found a treasure. A pretty useful one at that. ''What's that Seiya,'' asked Rista

I told her what it was and what it can be used for. ''That's so cool, we should definitely pay the forest a visit later.'' she said.

''I'll make sure to fry that bird the next time I see it, a few meters lower and it could have ruined my lovely fur,'' growled the ever so grumpy fox. So he cares about his fur that much. Hehehe.

''What's so special about your fur Kurama? I doubt even the strongest winds could ruin it.'' I said reaching out my hand intending to rub his fur. But the fox jumped off my hand and ran.

''NO stay back! I'm warning you Seiya.''

''Hahahaha, come on foxy-kun just a little pat on the back wouldn't do much,'' I said runing after the fox.

''NO!!''

''Come on foxy-kun.''

''NOO!''

And the chase began.
