Tenzin then said "we have to get into that compound tonight and get those airbenders out" "alright we go in under the cover of darkness, two small insterstion teams and a third on the outside, then all we'll need is 12 tons of blasting jelly, a medium sized bulldozer, and does anyone have a badger mole that know Morse code"

Tenzin sighed then someone knocked on the door. Asami said "oh, great not the queen again" bolin hid Pabu in his shirt then tenzin opened the door.

I slid my foot across the floor.

I knew who was gonna walk in, not from watching the show but from my seismic sense. Everyone looked surprised to see lin walk in tenzin said "lin, what are you doing here?" "We need to get korra out of here immediately, her life is in danger" lin said urgently

Korra said surprised "WHAT, what's going on" and lin replied "I just got word from lord zuko and tonraq"

Korra questioned "why is lord zuko with my dad" and lin said "zaheer and the others have escaped" "how is that possible" tenzin said

"Because zaheer is an airbender again" lin said. Korra said extremely confused so was I was because lin said 'again' "all right hold on, will you quit ignoring me. tell me what's going on, who's zaheer and why is my life in danger"

"He's my eldest brother, he was an airbender but did some really bad things, my father took away his bending then sent him off to a prison, but years of training with our uncle sokka had taught him some skills that allowed him to escape prison then he went into hiding, a little after we found out you were the avatar he and his gang came after you. But luckily Lord zuko, sokka, your father, and I were there to stop them. We apprehended them away in prisons for their repective abilities"

"So that's why you and my father sheltered me away" korra said looking down at the ground, she had called her father and tenzin many rude names for keeping her sheltered away for 'no reason' tenzin said "it was for your own safety"

"Why were they trying to kidnap korra" Mako said while I sat down on the steps and contemplated this lore drop. "We spent 13 years interrogating them, but they never broke to this days no one knows what their motive was, NOW we need to get you back to Republic City where I can protect you"

"No, I'm not running" korra said not realizing the shit she was in then lin said irritated, she always irritated but you could tell she was really irritated now "korra, you Don't understand, these criminals are like nothing you've ever faced before"

"Look I'm not a little kid anymore, you don't need to protect me, I came here for one thing, to find airbenders, and I'm not leaving without them" korra said

While they were arguing about zaheer I was contemplating about life in a corner. My pose would put ancient Greek philosophers to shame.

Lin replied "fine, let's get them and get out of here, where are they?" And korra replied nonchalantly "in a military compound and we're busting them out"

We waited until late night. I was put in an airship because I was too slow and also I wanted to relax. Me and linwaited a few minutes before we heard bumi say over radio "topside, this is papa bear, the breezies are in the hold cue the balloons"

Lin said back to bumi over the radio "what, are you in trouble" bumi then responded over the radio "No, we got the airbenders and we're headed out, bring the airships"

"Copy that, Asami and I are on our way" lin said holding the airships microphone. The airships started flying towards the queens temple. We flew over head and I saw the airbenders pushing back the Dai li agents with a constant gust of wind.

Mako, bolin, kai, and jinora weren't there and I wondered about them, maybe running a bit late. I saw them run out the temple after we had already set off.

Korra and tenzin moved down with the airbison and picked up the remaining 4. We all flew away from Ba sing se and towards some air base.

We landed at the air base in the morning. Tenzin gave an option to the rescued airbenders "we can relocate you somewhere safe, or you can come with me to the northern Air temple to live in peace and as air nomads you are no longer anyone's property what path you decide is up to you"

They did some Spartacus reference and they all said 'I will come with you' 'I will come with you' the new airbenders would be septerated I was excluded from the new airbenders because I was strong and could defend the avatar even in a crippled state. I guess or maybe they liked my company?

We flew on the airship for a few days. We stopped a few times obviously lin did not want this. I didn't go out side because my legs still hurt.

I sat in the control room with Mako and Asami then someone radioed us about an airbender in Zuafu, home of the metal clan. We flew over some mountains then we saw Zuafu. I could tell lin was nervous I didn't need to pry, I knew why.

Bolin looked at the shining city and said "an entire city made of metal, whoo, you should be right at home, beifong, and younger beifong" everyone noticed something was up with lin.

We got clearance to land the airship. The metal benders outside used metal cables to connect us too the platform.

We lowered our ramp and we all started walking down except lin, I knew why I watched the show but no one else did. I liked knowing stuff others didn't. Asami who was the last one out asked "aren't you coming"

"What's there to see, it's metal, big whoooop, just find the airbender and let's get moving and don't tell anyone I'm here" lin said And did the pointer and pinky finger thing. I didn't get why she did it.

Everyone turned back and crowded the door way korra asked "why not" "I don't need to explain myself to you just do as I say" lin said hiding something from us.

Korra replied "fine, you got it, chief cranky pants" lin left scwols on everyone's mouth but mine, she was in the right Su was a spoiled brat.

Now, theoretically, could I make someone shit themselves with earthbending.

We walked onto the landing platform and over to the elevator and found a man wearing a much brighter foresty green compared to the two guards by him then the man with bright green robes said "Avatar korra, it's an honor to meet you, my name is Aiwei"

Korra bowed back and said "thanks for having us" Aiwei responded to korra "is this everyone"

Korra said but she's a bad liar, Aiwei can tell when people are lying even if they are a great liar "yep, just us, so can I meet the new airbender" "of course right this way" Aiwei said guiding us to the elevator.

The elevator went down and onto a train platform. Then, guess what we went on a train. All of us observed the beautiful city, even I marveled at its beauty. We passed a statue of toph and Aiwei pointed it out and said "that statue honors, the first metal bender, toph beifong, who expanded the possibilities of what benders were capable of here, everyone is encouraged to reach his or her highest potential"

bolin asked "does toph live here, can we meet her" and Aiwei responded "I'm afraid not, she used to visit from time to time but years ago she left to wander the world in search of enlightenment, no one has seen her since."

We stopped at the end of the track and exited the train. The avatar left her remarks about the place "wow, the airbender Iives here" "Yes but first her mother wants to meet you" Aiwei said then guided us to where Su was.

We entered a large open door and saw a group of metal benders float up in the sky with their metal cables then lower and started to make what I assumed to be a flower blooming.

Korra asked "is this some kind of combat training" and Aiwei responded "not exactly, they are rehearsing for a dance premiere next month"

They made a metal flower then made it Bloom and the two people in the center with their legs crossed. The lady with Grey hair walked over to us after dismissing the dancers.

Aiwei said while pointing to Su "allow me to introduce the matriarch of the metal clan, Suyin" and Su said "please, call me su, great to finally meet you avatar korra, and this must be Mako, bolin, and Asami I don't know who this other person is"

"I am JoJo beifong, legal arms merchant and inventer of the gun, son of Lin beifong" I replied and she let out a little gasp then said suprised "lin had a kid, is she here now"

"Yeah but she didn't wanna come outside the airship, also Lin never mentioed anything about having a sister" I said. Aiwei could tell if I lied so no use in doing that. All of us including Suyin rode the train back to the airship. Along the way Suyin mentioned the identity of the new airbender "Opal, my daughter is the new airbender"

We got off and then went up the elevator and into the airship. Lin was leaning aginst the window when we all walked in and korra said while standing besides Su "why didn't you tell me you had a sister"

"Better question why didn't you tell me" I pointed to my chest and overexaggerated my words. "Half sister, same mom, different dad's" lin said bluntly

Suyin replied to miss cranky pants "so what, We're blood, lin and after 30 years, the least you could do is say hello or tell me about my Nephew" miss cranky pants said while probably have Vietnam flashbacks about her scar "I have nothing to say to you"

"Based on how everyone has reacted and the some other clues, The reason you guys haven't talked for 3 decades, is because Suyin gave you the scar from a metal cable, probaly because Suyin committed a crime and you attempted to arrest her but she cut the cable which fired back and hit you in the face" I took a 'guess'

Everyone looked at me for different reasons, the beifong sisters were wondering how I figured that out and the others were wondering if it was true.

Lin looked at me and said with her jaw agape "how the hell did you know that, I've never told you, unless I was to shitfaced to remember telling you"

"No, I used an educated guess" I replied. I still didn't like Suyin. She's just a spoiled brat And like war, never changes. Suyin said "No need to dilly dally on the past, lin you niece is the new airbender"

We went back to Suyin's estate, suyin gave a tour around the place. Our first stop was an arena for power disc Suyin pointed to the twoteenagers playing the game and said "those are my two youngest, Wei and Wing, they're playing a game called power disc they invented it all on their own"

The arena was just an oval with four large metal cylinders in the shape of a square. I was an asshole so I made a glass shard reflect sun light in Wei's eyes. The disc was kinda sharp so once I distracted him and he hit the metal dic with his shin. He didn't use his metal bending he didn't even realize the disc was making contact with him.

It started gushing blood. Suyin let out a yelp then jumped down into the pit, korra did the same. Wing ran over to Wei and tried to help him, not much he could do though.

Me and lin stayed at the top. Everyone else including Naga went down to check on him. I love refracting light. I love my stand, NO Homo. Suyin and korra helped him up.

I followed them, they went to some personal infirmary. I walked over to Wei and said "that ain't shit compared to what injuries I've sustained" I was one uping him.

Suyin looked at me them realized I was covered with scars then mumbled "I..I...didn't know you had one blind eye, it's the same color as you other eye"

My right hand was in my pocket then I showed it to her. All three fingers. She muttered under her breath "you can really tell lin raised him"

She went back to Wei. There was a nurse taking care of his wound. It had gone down to the bone, it had hit the leg bone enough to crack the surrounding area. He's not walking straight for the next couple of years.
