A Deadly Sun From The Clan

Bingwen and Jinghua walked away back to the throne room. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, and..thank you…" Bingwen said. He was starting to think that Jinghua was hiding a kind personality.

The two nearly ran into Tao Wen and Xue Qi on the way back. "Wait, you're leaving already?" Tao Wen asked, sadness in her eyes. "We have to, you know why." Jinghua said, Bingwen knelt down to Tao Wen. "You're going to become a great royal guard, Tao Wen. it doesn't matter what you are or what you look like. You're strong and can become even stronger, I know it!" He said. Tao Wen smiled as Xue Qi grabbed her hand. "He's right! We can train together. And we will always be together!" She said, Bingwen stood up. That reminded him of the memory he had of him and Jinghua as children. "Good luck, Tao Wen." Jinghua said. Then he and Bingwen bowed to the two girls and left.

Yuming sat up in her bed. She had bandages wrapped around her shoulder. Did Hung Meifeng have to undress her to put that on?! Hung Meifeng stepped into the room. "How are you feeling?" She asked Yuming, holding a tray of food. "How long have I been unconscious?" Yuming asked, grabbing the tray Hung Meifeng gave her. "Only two days. Your wound should be mostly healed now." She said, Hung Meifeng was specialized and had lots of knowledge of medical attention. She did basically nurse Bingwen back to life. "Hung Meifeng, thank you, I really-" But Yuming was interrupted by something she would have never expected. A small kiss on Yumings lips. Yuming was in shock but she didn't dislike it or disapprove. Never in her life would she think another woman would have feelings for her. Was that even aloud? "W-Why would you…What..What was that about?" Yuming said, Hung Meifeng blushed.

"I..I wish I knew.." She said,

Bingwen and Jinghua had made it to the snowy valleys in the mountains of Xue. "Ning Cheng, where exactly are we going?"

"Yue. Yue city. At least to the borders." Jinghua answered. The two were given cloaks to keep warm. "That will take days if we travel by foot." Bingwen caught up to Jinghua. "Why are you angry?" Bingwen asked. Jinghua growled. "Because of that damn bastard, Xue Quan. I don't care what he is or what he likes but not you! I shouldn't have left you alone." Jinghua said. Suddenly a voice from ahead of them spoke. "Finally!" It said, Jinghua stomped his foot. "Great..now we're really screwed." Six figures appeared in front of Bingwen and Jinghua. They wore the same symbols and colored robes as Jinghua. Jinghua pushed Bingwen behind him. "The great Ning Cheng couldn't run for that long with his little pet!" The figure in the middle of the group said.

"Piss off, Yuxuan Shi! Or I'll kill you!" Jinghua threatened. Yuxuan Shi was Ning Lin's best disciple besides his own son. "Maybe I will, but only if you let us take him with us!" Yuxuan Shi said, laughing after what he had said. He stared right at Bingwen's eyes and started walking towards the two. Jinghua pushed Bingwen behind his back even more. "Those green eyes are most unusual, Bingwen!" Yuxuan Shi teased. "I would love to just pull them out of your pretty-boy face!" Bingwen was the most disturbed. He didn't know that the Ning clan disciples were ruthless killers. Other disciples came up behind Jinghua and held his arms back. Yuxuan Shi pulled Bingwen away from Jinghua. He held Bingwen's arm firmly, took out his sword, and pierced it straight through Bingwen's chest. Bingwen very quickly spit up blood. Yuxuan Shi pulled out his sword in a quick manner and let Bingwen fall to the ground. The snow was now a deep red color. Yuxuan Shi licked the blood off of his sword. Jinghua struggled and tried to leave the disciples' grips. Yuxuan Shi pulled Bingwen off of the ground by his collar. "You have very sweet blood for a human!" Yuxuan Shi continued to tease. "You damn bastard! Jin Si, Attack!" Jinghua commanded. But before Jin Si could hit Yuxuan Shi, he had caught it between his fingers. But he did not notice Bingwen summoning his sword. Baiyu sliced through Yuxuan Shi's chest. He let go of Bingwen as Jinghua was released and killed the extra disciples. Yuxuan Shi clenched his wound. Bingwen dragged himself towards Jinghua who was still fighting the other Ning disciples, a trail of red staining the snow. Yuxuan Shi chased after Bingwen and pulled him by his hair. "You little snake! Thinking you could get away from me?" He said, Bingwen grunting in pain. "Ning Cheng…" Bingwen said weakly. Yuxuan Shi put his sword to Bingwen's throat.

"I could kill you right now! Then the emperor could play with your head!"

"...Ning..Cheng!..." Bingwen said again. "All I have to do is slit your throat and off comes your head!" Yuxuan Shi teased, pressing his sword against Bingwen's jugular. And with all his might, Bingwen yelled, "JINGHUA!"

"BINGWEN!" Jinghua yelled back. And suddenly, after the sound of a slice and a splatter of blood, Yuxuan's head rolled at Bingwen's feet. Jinghua caught Bingwen before he collapsed. He then covered Bingwen's eyes with his hand. "It's done, don't look at it." Then, Bingwen collapsed.
