23 Partial reunion

As the ship settled down, the mud on the floor was propelled around. Once it had settled, Cynthinia - no longer wearing her pyjamas but now wearing a red tracksuit and some wellington boots - walked up ti the ship to greet it's pilot. The door opened and out stepped Izzy and Liam wearing matching sweaters that read 'Mother loves us even if we don't love each other' and their faces matched as they both possessed faces that said "I'm hating every second of this". They stopped in front of Cynthinia.

"Who are you?" asked Izzy.

"I'm Caitlin." replied Cynthinia.

"Ok, hello Caitlin. We're supposed to be meeting William here. Do you know where he is?" said Liam.

"You're in the right place. He's having a shower at the moment but would you like to come in and have a drink?" asked Cynthinia. Liam and Izzy agreed and follow Cynthinia into the caravan.

They got in and Liam and Izzy sat down.

"Caitlin," called William from the bathroom, "is that you?"

"Yeah, it's two friends of your's, um what are your names?" asked Cynthinia - she did know their names but she couldn't risk anything.

"Yo Will! It's me and Izzy!" yelled Liam. There was some shuffling and then William cursed.

"Caitlin, could you pass me the shirt and trousers on my bed please?" asked William. Cynthinia grabbed the items from his bed, opened the door just enough, and - partially covering her eyes with one hand - threw them in.

"Don't worry, I didn't see anything." Cynthinia quickly stated. She saw everything. There was some more shuffling and then William finally exited from the bathroom with still wet hair.

"I wasn't expecting you for another two days." exclaimed William.

"Oh, did we catch you?" joked Liam. Izzy elbowed him in the ribs.

"Well I see your mother is still feeding you two well." shot back William and they all chuckled.

"So Caitlin, what are you actually here for?" asked Izzy. Cynthinia looked at William.

"Don't worry, these people, despite their appearance, are here to help me with the construction. Izzy here is an electricity elemental and Liam is an earth elemental. Now that I think about it, I never found out what element you are." said William. They all looked at Cynthinia. She clicked with her middle finger and thumb and a flame sparked to life from her index finger. She then threw it from finger to finger before holding it in her palm and quickly closing her hand to extinguish it.

"I guess you're like James. Where is he by the way?" asked Liam. William then explained how Jack and James had gone out over the planet to locate others being given abilities and how it won't be long before those with abilities will reproduce and spread.

"So where's the building site then? I wanna get this over with so I can get back to the farm." said Liam and he brought out his hammer and placed it on his shoulder to support it. William led Liam and Izzy to the warehouse and showed where he had previously placed the water pipe. Liam cracked his knuckles and slammed the face of his hammer into the ground causing chunks of metal to fly upwards out of the ground. William showed Liam the blueprints and Liam nodded. Cynthinia watched while sitting on the garden chair she had been strapped to the previous night reliving the picture of William's body over and over in her head so many times she began to phase out and drool a little. Meanwhile, Liam clapped his hands together and the chunks of metal flattened out into sheets of equal sizes and he sent them flying to the frame of the ware house making the outside walls. He stepped back to admire his work while both William and Izzy face palmed at the fact he forgot the doors - which Liam quickly corrected once he noticed himself.

Next up was the interior which William made by using the small amounts of moisture in the planks of wood in a truck outside to move them into place to make the walls and floors. Other furniture like beds, tables, and chairs were moved by Liam and Izzy sorted out electricity by running it through lines of copper Liam also drew up from the ground illuminating the whole building. Once everything was in place, the building with it's four floors and a basement was split into areas for residence, eating, cooking, energy, waste, pumping, fitness, teaching. Summing it up, it was a school but also a hotel and gym all wrapped into one. Cynthinia looked around and found William unpacking his stuff into a room. He took a picture out of his bag of a blonde woman but some light reflecting on it hid most of her face. William noticed Cynthinia and quickly hid the photo in his bag.

"Is that Charlotte?" asked Cynthinia. William looked surprised.

"How do you know about her?" replied William. Cynthinia walked into the room and sat down on the bed next to William.

"Last night, you started sleep walking," began Cynthinia, "and when I tried to direct you back to be you started calling me Charlotte. What I saw the symbol on your back I realised you were Cyrcartan and you marry in your twenties." William looked down.

"She was the funniest and most beautiful girl I had ever met. She was a water elemental like me but far more powerful at the time. So powerful she got noticed by the military. She said she'd be back before I noticed she was gone but the very next day she was announced missing in action. They still haven't found a body of any description." revealed William and he broke down in tears. Cynthinia wrapped her arms around him and began to comfort him.
