Law of the Gods

"You can't seriously be thinking about interfering with the timeline!" shouted Dianne. Dianne was the Goddess of love and was just watching the events of Alice capturing the group again with Cynthinia. They were in a small room with white pillars and walls but the floor acted as a viewing area allowing the Gods to watch the mortals. Dianne was the personification of beauty, she was 1.8 metres tall, thin, long hair dyed blue, red, and purple with rose-red lips, dazzling hazel eyes. She wore a white split leg dress that stopped half way down her shins and red high-heels. Cynthinia ,other the other hand, was 1.3 metres tall, had short dirty-blonde hair, fiery red eyes, and wore ripped shorts, a white t-shirt with a flame on it, and red trainers.

"I'll just allow him to use the celestial weapon of fire for this fight and then take it back. There won't be any massive changes to the timeline and Rantra won't find out!" said Cynthinia.

"I won't find out what?" said a serious voice. Cynthinia turned around nervously and looked up at man, as we can presume, called Rantra. Rantra was the God of time, but unlike his title, he wasn't very grand and was nothing more than an orb with tiny things floating around inside him like a sand timer, clock, tortoise, and a strange blonde man with a green shirt and brown trousers.

"Nothing, we're totally not planning a surprise party or anything!" blurted out Cynthinia.

"You're really bad at keeping secrets. Feel lucky that we exist outside time and I can't look forward. You may be able to surprise me if you're lucky." said Rantra and he floated away.

"You are a very luck person Cynthinia! But still, I don't think messing with the timeline is a good idea. That Arthur guy may have asked you to protect his son but that's no reason the change the course of history this greatly." pleaded Dianne.

"I made a promise and I'm going to keep it. Anyway, I only have another 5 cycles before my time as a Goddess is over and I need to pick someone to take my place." countered Cynthinia. She walked over to the wall and slumped down to the floor.

"But if you do this then you'll be sent to the mortal realm to perish. You'll age and die!"

"But I'll also love and laugh. Haven't you ever wondered what it's like to walk along a beach, eat foods you've never tasted before, or feel the weight of a child in your arms. This boy will lose his chance to feel all of those if I leave him to die."

"Look, you kept quiet about me having a child in the mortal realm so I'll keep quiet about this if you promise to take that weapon back as soon as he no longer needs it." Cynthinia got up and ran at Dianne locking her in a hug.

"Thank you! I'll never forget this!" Cynthinia ran out off the room was immense joy leaving Dianne watching James being taken up to Alice on the platform.

"I'm sure you won't. You can come out now, she's gone." said Dianne and Rantra revealed himself from hiding outside above the doorway.

"I'll let her change the timeline as agreed, but after that she will be banished. Do you agree to these terms?" asked Rantra. Dianne watched as broke his restraints and turned to Rantra.

"I agree."
