The fight between the God of War and Ping Jun raged on, their movements a blur of ancient Chinese martial arts mastery. Despite the God of War's earlier triumph, Ping Jun refused to concede defeat, his desperation fueling his every strike.

Li Xinjie, Shadow, and Deng Chengxi, having dispatched the masked guards, rushed into the living room, their eyes widening at the sight of the two ancient souls locked in mortal combat.

Li Xinjie's gaze darted between his father, Li Xiaojun, and Cen Yuhuan, who were still chained to the wall, before settling on Li Chen, or rather, the God of War who had taken possession of his body.
