Tension had risen in the shop
It was one of the Squires (Rank 2) knights who had dismounted. He slowly walked forward, weapon sheathed and aura restrained to show that he did not mean any harm; he even shouted back, "I do not come with harmful intentions!"
The town knights, with their weapons in their grasp and ready to strike, loosened a bit upon hearing him, but still, no one made the mistake of dropping their guard.
The rest of the knights of House Snow did not move any further and seemed somewhat accustomed to this. Eldric, on the other hand, could not help but raise his head and gaze at the situation upfront.
He observed the knights and nodded ever so slightly. They had relaxed a bit but still remained vigilant. Eldric commended them for that, as he had seen many times that once those in power stay too long, they get too comfortable and slack off. Here, however, he did not see such a sight.
