After a moment of deafening silence, the old man spoke, "Cheer up, little pea. You too, Thorne. There is no need to get saddened or worried; I still have a shot at full recovery, and every chance to take it no matter how high its success, is something worth taking a chance for."
The two people fell silent. They knew the possibility of him making a full recovery was slim to none. But if he wanted to do something, there was no way for Thorne or Astrid to stop him.
The group continued with their discussion, and not long after they went their separate ways, Astrid opened the shop and continued with her work while Thorne returned to his shop.
They continued on with their lives as if the meeting with Evander had never happened and they had never left.
Meanwhile, Evander left the commerce and made his way towards the house. He had stayed in the shop for a day before he had stealthily slipped away. He had done what was needed in Silverpeak and wanted to return.
