3 Chapter 3: Dinner

I woke up a little groggy, I can't wait to have the full power of creation, where I can probably get a nice a Medium Rare Wagyu stake with Dark Mocha Frappe with a snap of my fingers. I went outside to dip myself on the pond to recover my strength.

Grumble*

That was my stomach calling me, another problem I had to attend to ASAP, I got no food other than those that I planted from the seeds that I got from the foster home. With all honesty, those are not gonna keep me alive for long. I tried creating food once, they taste disgusting. you see my creation right now works more technically rather than hypothetically. It means I need to know all the nitty gritty facts of the things I want to create, less imagination more thinking.

Opening the menu, I went to the farming section of the system, looking for something that I can afford that can help me solve my hunger problem. Last time I checked there were only lettuce and radish seeds, also weeds the step on in no one cares kind. To my surprise there was more, there was also a new kind of fertilizer which I cannot afford.

I should also explain the currency system, first thing I found out is that I randomly gain different amounts of points, the second I gain points passively, I think this has something to do with my infinite mana, as everything here uses mana as collateral for the resources lacking. Last I gain points by generally improving this world.

So now you must be wondering If I have a passive income of points then how come I cannot afford anything. The answer is I am dead broke, I bought upgrades and fertilizers, and also I converted some points to money, yeah money though it was unfair to change. it's like 100 to 1 which was not worth it, but I kinda needed it to ride the bus cause this body cannot walk for a few kilometers within the day, and I ain't spending my night outside, nuh-uh.

I tried creating money but they kinda look fake and back then I haven't grasped the basics of how to create things.

Going back to me window shopping, I saw freaking chicken eggs this will... why is there a limit?. There was a small 3 out of 3 left on the bottom corner of the item. Then I looked again at the suspiciously golden-looking chicken egg, when did chicken eggs have swirly patterns?

I look at the price and moved on as if I did not see it in the first place, I'll save up for it sure, but first I have to make a chicken coop and an egg incubator since I plan on raising it to get more eggs, and maybe meat. After all limited means good stuff.

Afterward, I opened the system storage where the harvests are stored. I just made myself a nice salad, well two, I also wanted to give Niklaus some human food. I also grabbed a glass from my bat water… I mean divine water, it always cleans itself so it's super clean I think.

I returned to the room in the abattoir, I held my hand in the knob, Is marcel here? I am not sure if he comes every day or whenever, but if he sees me, I am dead. I need to place special precautions. For now, my senses unsuppressed should be enough.

Unleashing the full capability of my senses for a brief moment. "Great no one seems to be coming here." I opened the door and confidently entered the dungeons beneath.

Crank*

Pushing the metal gates. "I'm back, I was hungry so I made a salad, though you might also like some. I still can't afford meat but maybe in a few months." My entry awoke the daydreaming hybrid.

He stares at me intently. "So what is your purpose truly for being here." He asked, I kept moving towards him. Placing the other salad inside the barrier.

Gin: "Your presence, except for that bald vampire no one comes here because they fear you. So this place is the safest place I can be for now". Digging onto my salad, damn not a fan of being vegetarian but this is good.

Niklaus: "So you have come here to use me?" He said with a grin on his face seemingly amused but not really.

Gin: "Indeed. I'm Gin by the way. I'll be staying here for some time. So how did you end up looking in here? Based on how you called yourself earlier, Niklaus Mikaelson, you seem to be someone who used to be powerful." I asked though I know bits and pieces of it I barely remember the small details of the original story.

Niklaus: "Do not call me as if we are close! I am powerful!" banging his chains, he moved closer to the edge of the barrier.

Gin: "So cave dude if you are still powerful why don't you run away from here" He looked at me more fiercely

Gin: "Hey don't look me like that, I am just asking."

Niklaus: "My family will come for me," He said, looking melancholily.

Gin: "You must trust your family so much for you to be sure they'll come for you. So prisoner guy how long have you been here" I asked him, I just know that he will be rescued 5 years after imprisonment but I don't know when that'll be.

Niklaus: "Are you mocking me!!!? Calling me names!" He stood up. Damn, that is scary. It's like an unseeable pressure… Bloodlust that must be it.

Gin: "You said your name was Niklaus but then you said don't call you as if we're close. Besides I was just curious, no need to be worked up like a hoodlum." I said not showing the slightest bit of fear.

It seems like he is not in the mood for a conversation anymore.

Gin: "I am feeling sleepy, so I'll be going back up. See yah tomorrow Niklaus". Not wanting to here his prideful talking I walk back to my room.

-----

Not really feeling tired I started to practice my psychic control. I wanted to learn where the sweet spot is, the equilibrium of energy output and energy utilization. I realize that I am wasting a lot of energy, even though I have endless of it, that drains me mentally faster.

I made 8 wooden disks using creation, placed them around me. Slowly the disks stably floated, I started to decrease the psychic energy on each disk till they wobbled. I tried to move the energy around, spreading them, focusing them at certain points, trial and error to figure out how to make the disk constantly stable, and to my experience it's not the center.

The moment I tried to move the disks, they tipped off. I raised the disks again adding more energy than where I left off in my first try. I am not giving up, just like they said, try and try until you die. And so time passed, without me realizing the sun started to rise from the east.

-----

You know slitting my hand every time I need my blood is painful and inefficient, I need time to go to a hospital or something to learn how they take blood. A glass filled with fresh blood for the grumpy troll below, I really don't know how to start a conversation with that dude.

Just like before, I unleashed my senses to check if it was safe before heading down to the dungeon. He is there awake, does this guy even sleep?, but unlike before, I used telekinesis to hand him the glass.

Gin: "Here is your daily dose of my blood, before you start blabbing, I am sorry for yesterday, I just don't know what to call you"

Niklaus: "Klaus, call me klaus kid. do you truly not fear me?"

Gin: "Why would I fear you? Do I even know you? I just came here since this place looks abandoned enough at the same time no people come to, from what I understand is because of you, that is why I chose this place, I can stay here since no one lives here, and feel safe from others since you are locked here, which also makes me feel safe."

Niklaus: "Fair enough" finishing his glass of blood.

Niklaus: "But are you sure you can do it, give me a glass of blood everyday. Even a powerful witch can't live long with their blood being collected everyday."

Gin: "Who said I was a witch. But not everyday, just everyday without someone else here. I'll be dead if I come down here with that bald vampire who calls himself king talking to you."

Gin: "I did a small research before choosing this place, he is scary to be honest" Gin looked down. 'But in a few years no one will be" Gin thought.

Gin stayed in the dungeon to talk to Klaus till noon. he asked about stuff like which places are best to visit in New Orleans, even though Klaus comments were not things you'll want to hear as a kid, but with the right filtering Gin, came to understand where to get good bread, where the best food and drinks are sold, the places to keep away from, he learned many things.
