40 Ch. 40 Dealing with the In-Laws

I was in a very tense situation. I am sitting in front of Lizzie and I have to explain to her as to how and why Josie lost her mind and what is the connection with Hope?

Lizzie sat down and MG sat down as well and Dorrian got up from the seat and walked in front of the table and said "Now Lizzie before he says anything you need to hear all of it."

But Lizzie just cut to it and looked at me and asked "Who is she?"

Hope looked at me and I sighed and said "She is…" I sighed and said "You know this will be easier." I then gave them the memories of Hope. Who she was, What was she to them and What did she sacrifice to protect us.

Lizzie was smiling for a while and Hope was happy as well and I was a bit relieved but then she had a sullen look on her face and she said "How could you?"

Hope looked down and I said "It's not her fault."

Lizzie then looked at me and said "And I am not blaming her." Hope looked up and then Lizzie then got up and said "You broke her and then you left and now you are coming back saying you want to fix this… how dare you."

Hope intervened and got up and said "Lizzie he didn't leave… he was banished."

Lizzie looked at Hope and she continued "He was in Hell."

Lizzie looked at me and I said nothing. Lizzie then looked at Hope and said "But Hell was destroyed so how can he be banished to Hell?"

Hope looked at me and then looked at Lizzie and said "It is the actual Hell, the judaochristianic Hell."

Lizzie then looked at Hope and said "He could be lying… so that we may be sympathetic to him."

Hope was going to say something but I said "It's alright Hope." I then looked at Lizzie and I got up and said "You are right regardless of where I was, I am the one who is responsible for all this so I should be the one to clean up this mess."

Lizzie looked at me and said "You are the most egotistical creature I have ever met… hear yourself Lucas. I am not helping you in any manner… I will save my sister myself without your help…" She then left the room and MG followed her out.

Dorrian said "It was better than I expected."

I sighed and nodded and Dorian asked "What are you going to do? No one knows where she is."

I looked at him and said "I do."

Dorrian and Hope were surprised and both of them asked "Where is she?"

I said "Mystic Falls."

Dorrian asked "How do you know?"

I said "I have my methods."

He then said "So then what are we waiting for? We should go now."

I stopped Dorrian and said "You guys can't go."

Hope was confused "Why?"

I sat down and said "Because of Ted."

They were confused and I said "Ted is the Necromancer."

Dorrian and Hope were confused and I said "Yes, the one that we encountered a while ago."

Dorrian said "Okay, so where are they"

I said "On the way to Mystic falls."

Dorrian was confused "Why and why is Josie with that dried jerky?"

Hope was also a bit confused and she was also looking for an answer and I said "Well they have different agendas but both of them have to do with Hope."

They looked confused and I said "Josie wants Hope's body for some reason and Ted wants to kill Hope."

Dorrian was still confused and said "Isn't that contradictory why would they be working together then?"

I said "Because Ted doesn't know what Josie wants to do."

Dorrian said "She means to betray him."

I nodded and then I sighed and I said "So where is Prof. Saltzman?"

Dorrian said "Let me call him." He called Prof. "Hey Ric, can you talk for a moment."

Prof. said "Unless the school is on fire I am in no mood to just talk."

Dorrian then looked at me and then said "We have found Josie's whereabouts."

Prof. said "What!? Where is she?"

Dorrian said "She is coming to Mystic Falls."

Prof. was happy and excited and said "Are you sure?"

Dorrian then looked at me and I nodded and he said "I am positive."

He then asked "Where did you get this information?"

Dorrian looked at me and I pointed at hope. Dorrian said "Hope is here…"

Prof was confused and it showed in his voice and he asked "What is Hope doing there and where is her Aunt?"

Hope took the phone and said "I am not backing away anymore Ric."

Prof. Saltzman said "Hope don't be stupid who knows what Josie will do."

Hope said "I have found a way to stop Josie. So Tell me where you are?"

Prof. Saltzman sighed and said "I am in New Mexico. I will be boarding the first flight."

Hope said, "That won't be necessary." She then looked at me.

I said "I need an exact location to open a portal."

Hope rolled her eyes and asked "Where are you exactly?"

He said "I am at this motel called Holiday Inn. And who is that?"

I looked it up and then I opened up a portal I saw Prof. Saltzman and a woman with blonde hair, presumably the mother of Josie and Lizzie.

Prof. looked at me and ran through and punched me. It did nothing to me. He just looked at me and I looked at him and he asked me "Where were you? You bastard!"

I sighed and said "Hell."

He then looked at Hope and hugged her and they were talking. Then the woman came through and she walked up to me and asked "You are Lucas?"

I nodded and said "You must be Caroline." She smiled and then she proceeded to slap me. I wanted to say that I am sorry to them but she would slap me everytime I would open my mouth.

Then Prof looked at me and asked "So how do you know that Josie will be here?"

I looked at Prof. Then I turned to Hope and said "Because I told her she will be here."

Hope then looked at me and said "If you said that I am here I am sure she won't come."

I said "Well it wasn't explicitly me but Levona who is telling her that you are here."

Prof. asked "Who is Levona?"

I said "A demon and also like a caretaker of Hell for now."

Then Caroline asked "And how can you be sure?"

I said "I am pretty sure and if not I can always use demons to find her whereabouts."

Prof then smiled and said "Well, that is fantastic Lucas, we will take it from here."

I said "Prof. You are…"

He said "I don't want to hear a word out of your mouth Lucas, not a single one. You have done enough." He then turned and started to walk away.

I said something and he stopped "The Necromancer is with Josie. If any of you go, you will die. You guys will need to draw her out here without the Necromancer." He then walked away.

Caroline then walked closer to me and I thought she was going to slap me but she said "Give it time Lucas." I nodded and then she slapped me.

They both left and I sighed and said "This is going to be tough."

Hope then held my hand and said "We'll get through."

I looked at her and I said "I hope so."

Hello, I am back from the grave, well not me this series the main problem I had with writing new chapters was that no one was reading it. Like I am also to blame a lot because I kind of count comments like attendance for the chapter so when there are like no comment. I just assume the chapter is bad. So I am really begging you if you don't want it to die just comment literally doesn't matter what it can be a damn . for god's sake but please comment and shoutout to Alex_Murillo, xLuciferx and onlinereyne they asked for new chapters so I did this.
