Chapter forty one

Thunder booked, as lighting strikes down. Without inconvenience or despair but simple peace as came.

"Your majesty." Lady Bark-well greeted the Queen.

"Lady Bark-well, what can this Queen do for you?" The Queen inquired.

"Your majesty, my husband wishes to divorce me!" Lady Bark-well cried, "And even worse wants to nothing to do with our children! Saying our children are disasters and want to rid of them and never marry again, even wanting to become a monk as atonement!"

If one didn't know, Lady Bark-well and the Queen are sisters, isn't that ironic indeed?

"What terrible thing could've happened for your husband to try and want a divorce?" The Queen inquired.

"The eldest grandson of the Bark-Well family that nasty bastard, me and the children thought To have rid of him! He's alive and serving the madam concubine son His highness Khan!" Lady Bark-well explained, "It's wretched, if Old Lord Bark-Well finds out, my husband will likely be disowned and now seeks divorce to prevent a far worse fate!"

Only the oldest living male could disown a member of the family if they break family law, and even might scapegoat to ensure they don't suffer such a terrible fate as well—once disowned they are nameless and have nothing to them—but a blank and clean slate, a worse fate then death most would proclaim as well.

"What begins must end and what ends must begin." The Queen remarked.

Lady Bark-well was crying on the floor, "This is horrible! I should've never allowed the father to marry off to such a secretively family!"

Is this a plot twist or what?
