As the group continued on their maze-like journey at the depths of palm, they didn't encounter any more dangers but walking around a place that could collapse in any moment is quite a scary experience, it took them a few hours to finally reach the exit but suddenly fog covered the place.

"What is this?" Shiroe said as he warily looked around, everyone also took out their weapons to be ready for battle.

"Lag?" Naotsugu said as he raised his shield.

"We switched zones, everyone, the enemy is coming," Tanaka said, not really wary nor worried.

"Above us!" Reigen said, everyone looked above and saw a very big fur ball moving around and some kind of pipe was swirling around it.

"What is that? It looks disgusting," Sora commented.

"A sub-species of a rat man maybe," Ains commented.

"It's blocking the stairs," Maou said.

"There was no monster like this in the game," Shiroe said.

"Well, it doesn't really matter, let's end this quickly," Tanaka boredly said.

"Yeah!"

*Boom!

The boss landed on the ground which made the place shake, it's size was very big and it towers them actually, it had a very disgusting face and a body full of scars.

It stood up in front of everyone as its tail swayed around, "Let's start!" Tanaka yelled.

Octopops and Naotsugu stepped in front of the monster and raised their shield, "Come here big guy!" Naotsugu yelled as he banged his sword to get the attention of the monster, his shield started to glow and the monster towards him.

It didn't move from its position and only swung its long tail towards him.

*Bam!

Naotsugu was pushed back as the tail slammed with his shield, the moment Naotsugu got the aggro of the boss, everyone immediately started bombing it with their attacks, Tanaka didn't move from his position as he only looked at the boss.

Everyone was level 90 and the boss they were fighting was only level 68, and it wanted to resist world rank players? It didn't take long for the boss's health to start decreasing at a very fast rate, Tanaka could see that it was nearing half health, he stepped forward slowly taking out his cube.

The cube floated on his hands then started to shine and change its form into a big axe, it looked like a two handed axe but Tanaka was carrying it with one hand, it was golden in color and it was triple the size of Tanaka, slowly he walked closer to the monster that was already bounded by the mages, it still have 50% of its health.

Tanaka stopped 5 meters away from it and a bad smell strikes his nose , "It smells so bad, Why did they implement it to the game?" Tanaka complained, but he didn't think much of it and raised his one handed axe.

"Let's end this, Supa Slashu!" Tanaka said as he swung the axe towards the monster, golden fire appeared out of nowhere coated the axe.

*Boom!

The attack shook the place and it started to tremble, dust kicked up the place and covered the place, but Tanaka was not done yet, he raised his hand and sent a downward slash on the air above him, the attack didn't hit anything but the air seemed to be had been ripped apart and a flame cut appeared on it.

A big figure suddenly jumped from the dust covered place and on the air, everyone saw it was the rat boss, it now had a different color and it seems like it was on rage mode, it flipped its body on the air when suddenly.

"Divine sword…Escanor," Tanaka said.

*Slash!

A very big slash appeared on its chest.

*Roar!

The boss monster roared as it suddenly started to glow, it glowed brightly that it almost blinded everyone, a few moments later, it exploded and turned into light particles.

"Wow, that's rare, it's rare to see a low level boss to have a rage skill," Naotsugu commented.

"Still, what was that attack Tanaka?" Sora asked.

"Divine Sword Escanor, a skill," Tanaka replied.

"Everyone here, here!" Aiza called out to them as she and Kanami were already outside the exit.

"Yeah, we are coming," Bang yelled as he climbed towards the exit.

Tanaka also followed along but due to his eyes being used in the dark for the long time, he had to cover his eyes and let it adjust to the brightness, a few moments later, when Tanaka's eyes adapted to the brightness he uncovered his eyes and saw the sun setting.

"All humans do love beautiful things, even if they're terrifying, or they have to go over lengths to see such beauty," Tanaka remembered a word that his father had told him.

A light smile appeared on Tanaka's face as he appreciated the great view in front of him, he then turned towards his friends, all of them were looking at the view with smiles on their faces, 'You were right father,' Tanaka closed his eyes as a small smile appeared on his face.
