One moon later…

Kevin's POV

As I woke up, I found myself standing in front of a wall. "Why did my mind conjure up this dream?" I questioned myself.

"Should I even care about it? I'll just wake up later," I muttered aloud, dismissing the strange experience.

As time passed, I found myself still here. What's going on? I never knew I could keep track of time in my dreams.

Is this one of those moments where my dream is trying to tell me something? In anime, the main character would touch the things in front of them, right? I hesitantly reached out and touched the wall, half-expecting something miraculous to happen.

And then it happened—something straight out of a Harry Potter book. The wall slowly transformed into a giant building, bustling with people engaged in all sorts of activities—fighting, reading, and so much more. It was as if I had stepped into a magical realm hidden within my own dream.

I looked around, finding myself questioning this place. Could my mind be this vivid in dreams? My common sense said no—I've never experienced anything like this before. But before I could question it any further, a man who looked like a butler appeared out of nowhere.

IThe man looked at me and said, "You're a fallen. Good job. You must have been through a lot," he remarked. With a wave of his hand, a giant book came flying into my hand. "This is all you need to know. Now, have a good day," he said before disappearing.

Skipping the whole thing, I found myself reading the book. You're probably thinking, "Why wasn't I freaking out?" I just didn't want to. If my common sense couldn't make sense of it, I couldn't really care.

Now, back to the "book"—or rather, the place that keeps memories. I simply picked a page and imagined myself thinking about it, allowing the memories to unfold like a vivid video.

Anyway, this place is like a café where you can chat with both the living and the dead, and even learn their skills.

Of course, it's not like you can just go around and talk to people here. You need to be careful; who knows what they might want from you. I'm not dumb enough to think that they will give you everything without expecting anything in return.

But let's focus on how I got here. According to this book, I'm a fallen—it says I'm dead, but as we know, I'm not. Well, not yet anyway. I don't really know what's going on, but supposedly, the fallen were supposed to have great achievements but died before actually getting there. That's the simplified version, anyway.

Fallen can help anyone for free or in exchange for something. I don't know what the " Price" are and I don't care. I basically just skipped through the book and read what I thought was interesting. I don't really care, after all, this is just a dream, and if it's not, I'm dead anyway, so it doesn't matter.

This is more for me; I need to brainstorm ideas. Don't take it too seriously, but you'll get more information in later chapters. I might fix it later.
