Chapter 63

After we finished getting dressed, we stepped out of the room. We hadn't gone far when we noticed people having fun by the beach. There were bonfires and singing, and their laughter reached us.

Suddenly, a man in his fifties greeted us. It seemed he knew Zairon because he immediately approached and greeted him. "Dr. Gavilan! I thought you wouldn't make it! Come, have something to eat!" he said enthusiastically.

As he greeted us, he pointed to a long table full of various foods. That area was well-lit with lights hanging from the trees. Each light added a beautiful ambiance to the place.

I also noticed the number of people sitting on the sand. Some were laughing, some were dancing, and others were chatting. Each of them was happy and enjoying the night.

Zairon took my hand and gently led me towards the table but stayed back as he was talking to someone, so I decided to stay there.

"Wow, are they always like this?" I asked in awe.
