When it starts,
It ends.
When it ends, it begins.
"Ey, man! Thanks for helping me out there, your a big help." My heart sank as my smile bloomed. "Of course, you know I'm here to help." Flashing lights highlighted us with bright colors as we glided on the crosswalk. It was an unforgettable silence as I wandered around for a split second, then soon having my view of the world cut short.
"Damn it! We're losing him!"
An excruciating pain hit my body.
Like needles pining me down, swallowing my body with each pressure point.
A pad fluffed on me, my breath started slowing, heart stopped pumping.
I couldn't move, I was bound by something.
Not physically, more internally. Like a chain on my heart, it was blocked by something.
I took one last breath before letting myself be walked to the other side.
It was unconscionably, my body and mind was doing this on its own.
My bare feet glided smoothly against the white marble.
I don't know where I was, but I knew I was going somewhere.
