Back in the kitchen Joy was standing side by side with Lilly as they both worked on cleaning the dishes. Lilly could tell the Joy wanted to say something but could also tell she was afraid to for some reason. So she just smiled at the black squirrel she'd come to think of as a sister before pausing in washing the dishes to take Joy's paws in her own.
"Joy dear you're like a sister to me and you know you can always tell me anything." encouragingly informed Lilly with a smile.
"I don't know." replied Joy as she looked down at her soap covered paws.
"Please, I can tell something is bothering you just tell me please." pleaded Lilly as her smile shifted to a concerned look.
"Did James ever tell you about the day he brought me, Rebekah and Marcus here a little over four years ago?" nervously asked Joy not making eye contact.
