Chapter 30

The sound of a clap resounds again and this time it was Umi.

Umi stood in the classroom with several other girls while she pulled one by the collar.

It looked like they had just ended lessons as only few students walked around.

Eugene is mine!

He has nothing to do with Chantel!

After all I'm much better than she is. I'm pretty, I'm cute and definitely better in every other way! And if any of you want to gossip about my relationship with him then you can start talking about how I'm gonna kiss him senseless before you senseless b*tches tonight!

At this time Umi didn't really look very cute rather she looked like an obsessive sister wanting to snatch her brother in law.

The scene fast forward to the night of the same day. This was the summer partner day where students would actually choose partners for the summer dance.

The girls stood in the middle of the room while chatting and having fun in their floral dresses. Chantel hands her drink to Jessica and went to the washroom. Jessica who was busy watching a fight that ensued between to girls who seemed to be fighting over a partner drops the drink on a nearby table.

Umi who stood quite watching all this immediately rushes to the table at the side of the ball room and pours a powdery substance in it.

Chantel returns and she consumes the certainly poisoned drink. After a while she feels dizzy and is escorted by Magnus at Umi's insistence.

That night the scene of Umi intentionally slipping before Eugene and being caught by him was shown. Also how she initiated the sudden kiss and got everyone's attention. She had forcefully occupied the position of Eugene's partner not giving him a chance to even revolt.

Another scene was shown and it was still Umi. This time she looked a bit older it seems to be their days in senior high.

She stood by a woman with short brown hair a slight curvy body and a normal look. She wore pink set of clothes as the woman had on a yellow dress.

That was Umi's "used to be" mother.

Umi do you want to get rid of Chantel. She asked with a surprisingly calm voice. Umi's cheerful face crumples as she forrows her brows in anger.

Yes. I hate her so much Eugene is supposed to be mine! Mine alone!

Ok then why don't you hand over this letter to her?

Umi looks at her mother and then at the letter before asking with a tinge of excitement.

Is this really going to make her leave for good?

Of course don't you trust your mother?

The woman's voice contained nothing but pure malice.

Umi could only hold back her anger and resentment as she knew whatever was going on was really true she had been that obsessed with Eugene. That day when she had careful dropped the letter by Chantel while making sure she wasn't caught she knew there was no going back however her obsession bad deprived her of all thoughts of friendship and love towards her dear friend all she could think about was that Eugene was going to be hers soon and she would be with him forever of only someone was there to tell her what she knew now she would definitely not cause such harm. But what could she do the damage had already been done.
