Raiden started moving towards his classroom. Behind him stood the group of flesh-eating monsters. These monsters couldn't see a thing but had an incredible sense of hearing. So Raiden had to move slowly with taking extra care not to make a noise.
He walked on the 3rd floor without wearing shoes. His socks were soaked in blood. He walked past several dead bodies. All were torn apart. Their flesh filled in the horrible sight of the 3rd floor.
Raiden ignored and walked past them. His motive was to reach his classroom which he came a lot closer to.
He had walked carefully along the way without making a noise. The group behind him wasn't bothered either.
He finally reached his classroom. He had high hopes that Hatsuhi would be hiding somewhere inside. He just wanted her to be safe.
The gate of his classroom was open so he peeked inside and all he found were empty desks. He was disappointed but worried even more.
At the far side of the classroom, he saw something moving behind a desk.
'Someone is hiding behind those desks. It could be Hatsuhi.'
He entered the classroom. He walked past all the empty desks and came behind that desk where he had seen something moving.
Three people were hiding on the other side of the desk. They were all trembling and had their face hidden as if they didn't want to face any upcoming danger.
Raiden leaned from over the desk and put his hand on one of their's shoulder.
The guy freaked out and jumped from his hidden place. He was about to scream but Raiden held him down and closed his mouth with his hand.
There were 2 guys and 1 girl who were hiding behind the desk. Raiden had pinned down one of the boys. The other two had moved away, freaking, when Raiden's arm came on top of that guy's shoulder but they didn't make a noise.
The guy in Raiden's arms still was terrified and struggling to run away. He was too shocked that he couldn't comprehend the situation.
"Chido! Calm down, it's me, Raiden," he quietly said in Chido's ear.
Chido calmed down after hearing that. Raiden removed his hand from Chido's mouth and he looked over to Raiden to confirm it was actually him.
"Oh, it's really you! I'm glad it's just you…" he broke into tears and sat down behind the desk again. He tried to keep his sobbing at a minimum but he couldn't do anything else but cry like a baby.
Raiden sat down too, beside him. The other two also joined the group.
"Quite down Chido, or else they would hear us. And, why the hell did you have to scare us like that, Raiden," spoke the girl, named Makie. She was the only girl currently in class and a gorgeous one. With black and long hair her beauty shone even on that hell of a 3rd floor.
"Oye, Maki, do you mind explaining to me what the hell happened here?" Raiden asked.
"Ahh, how many times do I have to tell you to not call me Maki. Call me Makie. Only my parents and close friends get to call me Maki. And, you are definitely not one of them!"
"Yeah, yeah I got it already, just tell me what the hell happened here, Maki?" Raiden asked, once again.
"Did you really just call me Maki again?"
"Can't believe you guys are arguing even in this situation," the other guy said. His name was Takeshi. "And, Chido, everything will be okay! Don't worry about it."
"Yeah, Takeshi's right, this is no place for crying or having an argument, thought Maki was at the fault, obviously," Raiden said.
"Did you say something in the end?" Makie asked, furiously.
"Nope! Not at all!" Raiden replied with intense sweating.
"Raiden, you came from the outside so you must have seen what craziness is going on in the school," Takeshi said.
"Yeah, it's crazy! Everything was going as normal but suddenly these guys barged into our school and started attacking everyone."
"Yes. The same happened in our classroom. We heard all the screams from down below and we all got scared. Some of the boys went down but didn't come back. Instead, those crazy people came running into our classroom. Everyone started running for their lives and those people started attacking us and then biting us. I don't know what happened to the others afterward but we three couldn't move in all that commotion and just hid under our desks. Luckily nothing happened to us and we are alright," Takeshi explained the whole thing.
"It was so terrible. So many of my friends died in front of my eyes and all I did was see them die behind this desk," Makie said while trembling.
"I was so scared. When everyone started running and screaming I just closed my eyes and laid down. I am the weakest looking guy in our whole class so I thought I would be the one to die first but somehow I'm still alive," Chido said, he had stopped crying now.
"Yeah, I know how horrible it was. And, you guys did a good thing by not moving or making any noise," Raiden said. "Also, was Hatsuhi here in the classroom when everything happened?"
"No. I don't think so Hatsuhi was here. She left at the start of recess and never returned," Makie said.
"Oh, understood! Thanks."
'She is not here in the classroom. Neither she was here before. She left before recess and went over to the roof. Damnit! Hatsuhi! Where did you go after that?'
Makie looked at the worried look ok Raiden's face and asked, "What is wrong Raiden? Is something bothering you?"
"Oh, yeah, well.. I was wondering where all the students went who had escaped from these crazy people?"
"Oh. About that, a few moments ago I heard a commotion outside the window so I peeked a little and saw teachers were evacuating all the students into the storage building."
"Really? Is that so?"
"Ahh, yes, I saw it myself."
"I see.. thanks!"
'I'm sure she must have escaped and followed one of the teachers into the storage building. Don't you worry Hatsuhi, just stay safe there for the time being until I arrive there.'
"Raiden? Why are you thanking me? You don't plan on going there right? This floor is full of them and lower floors even have more of those people. You won't be able to survive at all," Makie asked, worrying.
"Don't worry. I'll go there because I have to and I won't die, no matter what happens."
