Chapter 15- Life is sacred

As I grasped for my inhaler, several shots coming from the sky desended down below. The body guards that once loomed over me now lay their, lifeless beside my trembling legs. I began to question why I had left the party, would my curiosity be the end of me?

'Now why would a pretty little girl like you be prancing in the streets of Belware'?

Out of nowhere, a small yet sincere figure had appeared from the shadows. A glimmering light of diamond and gold rings fitted on the stubby hands.

Now I knew I was in deep shit.

'Who are you and why do you have the phone of her mother' sneered Zach as he loaded a gun.

"Why, my name is Littbrook Bryn, and youse on my territory, anyone who comes here knows that there is never a way out"

Two muscular men in light grey suits from behind him began closing in on us, Cracking their knuckles as they drew closer. Gasping the chains of wild bulldogs, saliva dribbling from their caged mouths.

I could my spine tingling with fear. My mind became blank as I tried to think on an escape plan.

"Don't worry Chlo, we will be out here in no time."

I could feel his soft warm hands holding my back as he pulled the safety pin of the gun.

All of a sudden, a yellow blinding light shine from above us. A sweet smell of lavander perfume my mom once wore had enchanted my nose.

Out of thin air, a crimson red Tesla had appeared.

"Get in before they gain on us"

Trembling, all four of us had entered the car. Looking behind me, I saw more men rushing behind us with diamond encrusted canes.

"You guys are lucky or you'd be left for dead right now"

I could not believe my eyes. A woman with the spitting image of my mother had appeared before me.

"Hello, my name is Lucy Kennedy."

"Looks like I'm your saviour"
