The Familiar

"Ugh!!" I groaned when an invisible force threw me against the wall which almost knock me out.

Despite my body almost getting numb, I could still feel the trickling blood from my forehead down to my cheeks.

And it's too dark… I couldn't see anything!

I couldn't sense him!

I couldn't even take time to summon the beasts I've slain to give myself a time to think of a plan.

His devilish voice is echoing from every corner and kept throwing me here and there before I could even make a move.

"You giving up now?"

"UGH!" I groaned when he pulled me by the hair to lift me up.

I slowly opened my eyes and met his glowing eyes again.

"Oh, c'mon! That's it?" He sneered.

I swiftly pulled the knife sealed on my thigh and attacked him, but he already disappeared to which I took the time to summon a behemoth right away.

"Outcast, doomed to wander the face of the earth, hear thy master's plea…" I chanted. "Come nigh thee… YUSIPHUS!"
