After saying good by to the candy twins who also requested John's help John began his flight in that direction.
'So half of the entire construction team went missing meaning out of The 400 banana gaurds and 200 candy builders 200 banana guards and a hundred candy builders went missing.'
John thought as he arrived right outside the barrier blocking all forms of magic sensing.
'even though this is off elementary level ruin crafting its done on such a large scale that it's overwhelmingly powerful!'
Impressed at what he was seeing John continued his journey easily passing through the barrier which seem to also trap energy inside as the moment he stepped inside the barrier a green sickly mana entered his mana infused eyesight.
'So this has to be the mana equivalent of s***! How in God's name can any energy look so repulsing and evil!?! compared this to my dead magic it might as well be the holiest of all energies!'
Covering himself with a barrier John clicked his skeletal jaw in displeasure as he could feel the souls of thousands no millions of souls infused into the green mana it self like the very orgin of pain and suffering.
'Im going to have to be careful if this energy spills out even a little the whole of Ooo will have to deal with a army of undead!'
Now more serious than ever John immediately set up a barrier right outside the barrier holding the green energy inside as he knew that if he kills the lich that hateful bastard will more than likely destroy the barrier, John can guarantees this as a anime watcher and a reader of more than a thousand books.
'okay lets see the energies source is somewhere near the coast, which is going to take several days to travels *sigh* I guess it's time for me to deal with adventure times shit show'
With a sad sigh at the realization that the good times are about to end John began his flight towards the horrible energies source.

Floating near the clouds John looked down at a city filled with undead and what looked to be a variety of captured races all crucified all throughout the city and being actively tortured by the undead and what looked to be corrupted version of there own species who had bright green lines and green ruins running all over there body that gave out two main commands 'Obey' and 'Worship'.
'This is worst than I thought but let's first get all those people out of there [Grand Dead magic: darkness shift]'
Raising his hand the shadows all throughout the cities seem to come alive as they shaped into different types of small mammals with black and gray coats which soon began running to different prisoners along with a few corrupted as they latched on to there shadow to which john smiled as he raised his hand and crushed it into a fist causing everyone to be suddenly to be consumed by a massive wave of darkness that rose from the ground under them.
'I should heal them first before I send them back'
Thinking this John dropped them in front of him where using his near maxed out Holy magic healed all of them instantaneously but not wanting to give them a chance to speak and not seeing Ms cinnamon bun John immediately teleported them right in city center of the candy kingdom.

With a mental smile John floated down to the city where using his fire and earth magic he began to level the city
